* Regardless of the values \u1200b\u1,15bspecified in the table, according to the condition of heating the magnetic circuit, the voltage increase in fractions of the rated voltage of the installed winding branch should be limited at 20 s to 1,3, at XNUMX s - up to XNUMX.

** The numerators show the values for the phase-to-ground insulation in fractions of the amplitude of the highest working phase voltage, in the denominators - for the phase-to-phase insulation in fractions of the amplitude of the highest working phase-to-phase voltage.

*** Regardless of the values specified in the table, the self-recovering voltage at the circuit breaker contacts must be limited by the condition of disconnecting the intact phase of the line in case of an unbalanced short circuit to 2,4 or 2,8, depending on the type of circuit breaker used.

The values for phase-to-phase isolation apply only to three-phase power transformers, shunt reactors and electromagnetic voltage transformers, as well as to devices in a three-pole version with three poles located in one tank or on one frame, while the values of 1,6, 1,7 and 1,8 apply only to external phase-to-phase insulation of devices with a voltage of 110 kV.

With a duration of voltage increase intermediate between the two values given in Table. 2.1, the allowable voltage rise is taken from the largest of these two values. At (0,1 < t < 0,5) s, a voltage increase equal to U1s + 0,3 (U0,1c - U1s) is allowed, where U1s and U0,1s are the allowable voltage increases for a duration of 1 and 0,1 s, respectively .

With the simultaneous effect of voltage increase on several types of equipment, the lowest value normalized for these types of equipment is acceptable for the electrical installation as a whole.

The number of voltage rises with a duration of 1200 s should be no more than 50 within 1 year, with a duration of 20 s - no more than 100 for the service life of electrical equipment specified in the state standard, or for 25 years if the service life is not specified. In this case, the number of voltage increases with a duration of 20 s should be no more than 15 for 1 year and no more than 2 - for 1 day.

The time interval between two voltage rises of 1200 and 20 s duration must be at least 1 hour. If a voltage increase with a duration of 1200 s occurred 2 times (with an hourly interval), then within the next 24 hours a third increase in voltage is allowed only in case of an emergency, but not earlier than after 4 hours.

The number of voltage rises with a duration of 0,1 and 1 s is not regulated. The number of voltage rises for valve arresters and surge arresters is also not regulated.

To prevent voltage rises beyond the allowable values, local regulations should specify the procedure for switching on and off each long 110 kV transmission line. For lines with a voltage of 110 kV, on which a voltage increase of more than 1,1 of the highest operating voltage is possible, relay protection against overvoltage should be provided.

In circuits, including starting ones, in which, during planned switching on of the power line, a voltage increase of more than 1,1 is possible, and with automatic shutdowns of more than 1,4 of the highest working one, it is recommended to provide automatic devices that limit the value and duration of the voltage increase to acceptable values.

A New Way to Control and Manipulate Optical Signals 05.05.2024

The modern world of science and technology is developing rapidly, and every day new methods and technologies appear that open up new prospects for us in various fields. One such innovation is the development by German scientists of a new way to control optical signals, which could lead to significant progress in the field of photonics. Recent research has allowed German scientists to create a tunable waveplate inside a fused silica waveguide. This method, based on the use of a liquid crystal layer, allows one to effectively change the polarization of light passing through a waveguide. This technological breakthrough opens up new prospects for the development of compact and efficient photonic devices capable of processing large volumes of data. The electro-optical control of polarization provided by the new method could provide the basis for a new class of integrated photonic devices. This opens up great opportunities for ... >>

Primium Seneca keyboard 05.05.2024

Keyboards are an integral part of our daily computer work. However, one of the main problems that users face is noise, especially in the case of premium models. But with the new Seneca keyboard from Norbauer & Co, that may change. Seneca is not just a keyboard, it is the result of five years of development work to create the ideal device. Every aspect of this keyboard, from acoustic properties to mechanical characteristics, has been carefully considered and balanced. One of the key features of Seneca is its silent stabilizers, which solve the noise problem common to many keyboards. In addition, the keyboard supports various key widths, making it convenient for any user. Although Seneca is not yet available for purchase, it is scheduled for release in late summer. Norbauer & Co's Seneca represents new standards in keyboard design. Her ... >>

The world's tallest astronomical observatory opened 04.05.2024

Exploring space and its mysteries is a task that attracts the attention of astronomers from all over the world. In the fresh air of the high mountains, far from city light pollution, the stars and planets reveal their secrets with greater clarity. A new page is opening in the history of astronomy with the opening of the world's highest astronomical observatory - the Atacama Observatory of the University of Tokyo. The Atacama Observatory, located at an altitude of 5640 meters above sea level, opens up new opportunities for astronomers in the study of space. This site has become the highest location for a ground-based telescope, providing researchers with a unique tool for studying infrared waves in the Universe. Although the high altitude location provides clearer skies and less interference from the atmosphere, building an observatory on a high mountain poses enormous difficulties and challenges. However, despite the difficulties, the new observatory opens up broad research prospects for astronomers. ... >>

Soil water 03.07.2003

The German company "Zeltek" proposed a device, ingenious in its simplicity, for evaporating pure water from the soil.

This is a large cone made of transparent polymer, without a bottom, but with an annular groove along the perimeter of the base (the edge of the base is bent inward). The cone is placed on the ground, and the rays of the sun drive water out of the ground. Water, evaporating under the cone, as in a greenhouse, settles on the walls and flows into the receiving groove.

In a day, even in the desert, you can get up to one and a half liters of the purest water - although the sand of the desert is drier than ordinary soil, but the sun is hotter there. You can put the cone in a dirty puddle, or even in calm weather let it swim near the shore in shallow sea water - and get clean distilled water.

The invention was awarded the prize of the World Forum on Drinking Water Problems, held in the spring in Tokyo.
