7.7.1. This chapter of the Rules applies to newly constructed, reconstructed and annually put into operation peat electrical installations up to 10 kV.

The electrical equipment of peat electrical installations, in addition to the requirements of this chapter, must meet the requirements of Sec. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 to the extent that they are not modified by this chapter.

7.7.2. Under peat electrical installations in these Rules are understood substations (stationary and mobile), overhead and cable power lines and the electrical part of electrified machines connected to them for preparing peat deposits, mining, drying, harvesting and loading peat.

7.7.3. The territory of a peat enterprise is the territory assigned to the enterprise, within the boundaries of its prospective development.

The territory of the peat enterprise, with the exception of workers' settlements, villages and railway stations, belongs to an uninhabited area.
