The proposed device will protect a three-phase consumer from changing the phase sequence and eliminate violations of technological parameters and equipment failure. At the same time, the device will protect the consumer from the breakage of any of the phases of the supply network.

The electrical circuit of the device is shown in Fig.1.

Device for protecting a three-phase consumer from changing the phase sequence

The device contains a thyristor VS1, in the circuit of which the relay K1 is connected, a control transformer T1, the secondary winding of which, through the diode VD1 and the zener diode VD2, is included in the control circuit of the thyristor VS1. The zener diode VD2 serves to delay the control signal by 60 ... 90 ° from the beginning of the half-cycle.

The device works as follows. When the SB1 "Start" button is pressed and the phase sequence is correct (according to the scheme A, B, C) during the half-cycle AB, the voltage Uk1 (Fig. 2) applied to the relay coil K1, and hence to the anode-cathode gap VS1, and the voltage applied to the control electrode of the thyristor VS1 (Uу) - half-cycle CA, coincide during the first 60 °. Therefore, the thyristor VS1 turns on and, accordingly, the relay K1 turns on, which, with its contacts K1.1, supplies voltage to the coil of the KM1 magnetic starter. The starter turns on, and the mains voltage is supplied to the consumer.

Device for protecting a three-phase consumer from changing the phase sequence

When the phase sequence of the mains is changed, as shown in Fig. 3, the half-cycle voltage (V) (A) is applied to the relay coil K1. The voltage at the thyristor cathode does not match the voltage at the control electrode Uy (half-cycle C (B)), relay K1 does not turn on, and therefore the magnetic starter does not turn on either. The mains voltage is not supplied to the consumer. To restore the power supply, phases B and C must be reversed.

The adjustment device is not required.

Details. Transformer T1 is assembled on a Sh16Ch24 core. Primary winding - 4650 turns PEL-1 0,1 mm; secondary - 145 turns PEL-1 0,42 mm. Relay K1 type RPU-0,5 220 V. Thyristor VS1 type T112-10-8.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

Sensors implant people and create a single network 02.06.2012

The IEEE has announced a new information exchange standard, IEEE 802.15.6-2012. It is designed for the purpose of wirelessly transmitting data between very low power devices operating in close proximity to the human body. At the same time, engineers tried to minimize the impact of the human body on the performance of the wireless network, regardless of the specific implementation of devices that support IEEE 802.15.6-2012. All this will allow the development of a new generation of implantable wireless devices, accelerate the arrival and development of new technologies for tracking the state of the body, and in addition will lead to the creation of a whole range of devices of the so-called "wearable electronics" class.

The IEEE 802.15.6-2012 protocol refers to a short distance data transmission interface, but this ensures extremely low power consumption of devices and high reliability of the exchange of important information. These requirements are necessary for the operation of equipment in close proximity to the human body or even inside the body. At the same time, a sufficiently high data transfer rate is provided - up to 10 Mbit / s, which allows you to implement the most daring and revolutionary ideas.

The use of such a protocol for wireless transmission of information seems to be almost limitless. Firstly, these are all kinds of systems for monitoring the state of the body. Starting with such routine analyzes as electroencephalography, electrocardiogram, ending with constant monitoring of the main vital signs: body temperature, heart rate, pressure. Secondly, it becomes possible to create systems for the automatic "delivery" of medicines into the blood, regardless of the state of the person. For example, in diabetes mellitus, insulin would enter the bloodstream if blood glucose fell below a certain level. And these are the simplest applications that can be implemented in the shortest possible time.

This is regarding the medical application of the IEEE 802.15.6-2012 protocol. The applications of the new technology are, in fact, countless, including in revolutionary new entertainment and gaming systems. Sensors integrated into clothing can be combined into a wireless network that constantly monitors the user's movement, his location relative to surrounding objects, obtain information about the conditions in which he is, etc. Based on these data, the idea of a "smart home" can be implemented at a completely different level. , with much greater comfort for the user and "anticipating" his desires.
