The stroboscope is assembled in the form of two separate blocks. The lamp control unit is made in one housing, and flash lamps are made in the form of separate blocks and can be taken out and installed in different places. The lamps are powered by one common block of high-capacity capacitors, this block is constantly recharged from the 220 V network through a doubling circuit.

The master oscillator is assembled on two elements DD1.1 and DD1.2. it generates rectangular pulses with a frequency of 5...20 Hz. The frequency can be smoothly adjusted by resistor R7. Elements DD1.3 and DD1.4 work as a trigger, controlling transistors VT1. VT2. The control signals are fed to the control electrodes of the thyristors VS1, VS2. opening them one by one. Powerful control voltage pulses are fed through separating capacitors SYU. JV for high-voltage transformers TR1. TP2. which carry out the ignition of the lamps HL1. HL2. The gas in the lamp is ionized and a powerful flash of light occurs, while the storage tank, consisting of a block of capacitors C1-C8, is discharged. Capacitors are charged from the network through a current-limiting resistor R1.

Switch S1 is used to discharge the block of capacitances through the resistor R3 after the end of work. This is to prevent electric shock when the strobe is turned off. The device is powered by 220 V without the use of a transformer. For the supply of control circuits, a parametric stabilizer is used. It is assembled on a current-limiting resistor R2 and a stabilizer on VD3, VD4, C9. The supply voltage level is 14 V.

Pulse transformers TP1 and TP2 are made independently. A ferrite rod with a diameter of 8 mm and a length of 30 mm made of 600NN grade ferrite was used as a core. The primary winding (I) contains 30 turns of PETV 0,25 wire; secondary (II) - 2500 turns PELSHO 0,1. When winding the secondary winding, each layer is insulated with capacitor paper. The ignition electrode for the IFC-2000 lamp is 10 turns of wire with a diameter of 0,5 mm. wound around the bulb.

The parts of the stroboscope are under mains voltage, so the housing and other supporting structures must be made of insulating material. The axis of the resistor R7, which controls the flash frequency, is isolated with a handle with good insulating properties. The discharge of a block of containers is judged by the glow of the indicator diode HL3, which glows when the containers are charged.
