Discrete frequency setting in 1 kHz steps in the R134 makes it difficult to use for amateur radio purposes. It is quite simple to get the possibility of smooth frequency tuning up to ± 4 kHz relative to the tuning frequency on the digital scale of the radio station. To do this, it is enough to replace the signal with a frequency of 10 MHz supplied from the frequency synthesizer of the radio station (block 2-1) through the multiplier of block 3-3 to the mixer of block 3-1 with a signal of a 500 MHz quartz oscillator tunable up to ± 10 Hz according to the circuit shown in Fig. .one.

Fine Frequency Generator for P134
Ris.1

Since the mixer of block 3-1 uses the eighth harmonic of the generator, the operating frequency of the radio station will vary within ± 4 kHz, which is quite enough. Resistor R7 in the circuit is selected within 0,5 ... 2 kOhm, depending on the activity of the applied quartz, until the nominal signal level at the radio station output is obtained with the key pressed in AT-T mode. Coil L is made on an annular magnetic circuit of the 50VCh2 brand, size K7x4x2, with a PELSHO wire of 0,1 mm and contains 15 turns. Using a well-calibrated receiver, it is desirable to select the number of turns of the coil with an accuracy of one to obtain the generator frequency of 10 MHz ± 50 Hz in the middle position of the R4 regulator, while the operating frequency of the radio station will correspond to the frequency on the digital scale. It is desirable to use a quartz resonator in a vacuum version. The +12,6 V generator can be powered from the decoupling filter capacitors C2 ... C6 in the power supply circuit of unit 2, which can be accessed by removing the top unit N9 of the radio station.

The printed circuit board of the device is shown in Fig. 2, the location of the parts on it - in Fig.3.

It is convenient to place the board in a shielded cassette block with dimensions of 140x70x30 mm, mounted on the radio station case to the left of the operator. On the front side of the unit, in addition to the radio frequency adjustment knob from the resistor R4, it is convenient to place a telephone jack, a toggle switch for turning on the tone generator and a toggle switch that duplicates the operation of the radio station's tangent in the "transmit" mode.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

transparent concrete 25.10.2021

HTRANS is an unusual translucent concrete designed by Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) researchers José Ramón Albiol Ibanez and Miguel Sánchez López

Thanks to this material, architects will be able to create 3D structures, where transparent resin is used as the "ink". According to Jose Ibanez, it will also be possible to integrate LED backlighting into these fragments.

HTRANS is still handmade, so its final price remains high. It is assumed that its strength will be strengthened by reinforcing elements of various thicknesses. Rechargeable batteries or wireless chargers are used as power sources for lighting inside the units.

Speaking about the future of the unique material, the developers suggest using it to create design objects - lamps, decorative elements, kitchen furniture, countertops, flooring, facades.
