I propose a schemeoriginal"touch switch of the lamp. Its originality lies in the fact that, in addition to turning it on and off, it allows you to adjust the brightness of the lamp and has a "memory." And all this on one domestic microcircuit !!! -or automatic, then this is what you need!

This device is produced by several enterprises, with minor adjustments in the circuit diagram. But in amateur radio literature, it is not covered enough. But in vain! The device deserves more attention.

The algorithm of work is simple: A short touch of the finger on the sensor E1 turns on the lamp. Repeat - turns off. But if the finger is held on the E1 sensor for more than 0,5 seconds, then the brightness of the lamp will slowly increase (decrease). By removing your finger from the E1 sensor, the device "remembers" the selected brightness state. And with subsequent switching on and off, the lamp burns with the set brightness.

To change the brightness in one direction or another, you just need to touch the E1 sensor and hold your finger until the desired brightness is set. If tapping increases the brightness and you need to decrease it, remove your finger and tap again. And vice versa - if you need to reduce.

For three years now, two of these devices have been working at home instead of ordinary switches. Instead of a touch plate, a thin copper wire is stretched along the wall (above the sofa). And if I "break" to get up to turn off the light, then I just touch the stretched wire with my hand or even my foot and that's it. In the morning - a similar process. Well, very convenient!

Details: V1- KT315B, VS1 - KU602B, D1 - KS215Zh, D2 - KD103B, R1- 200 (0,5W), R2 - 1,3K (1W), R3 - 10K (0,25W), R4 - 100 (0,25W ), R5 - 1,2M (0,5W), R6 - 4,7M (0,5W), R7 - 510K (0,25W), R8 -4,7M (0,25W), R9 - 4,7M ( 0,25W), C1 - 0,1(400V), C2 -0,15(400V), C3 - 50mk (electrolyte 25V), C4 -470(63V), C5 - 0,047(63V), C6 - 0,047( 63V), D1 - KS215Zh, FU1 -2A. Inductor L1 - 150 turns PEL-0,4 on a ferrite rod 400-600NN. (any interference)

I recommend replacing the triac VS1-KU602B with TS 112-10-7 or similar. And also turn on the zener diode D6 - KS3A in parallel with the resistor R175 (as shown in the diagram).

By selecting the resistor R6, select the desired sensitivity. Its resistance should be within 4,7M ... 1,2M. Any metal plate with sizes from 3 to 500 sq./cm can serve as a sensor.

To do this, remove the elements R8, R9, D3, E1. The resistance R6 should be 100K. And between pins 5 and 3 of the microcircuit, enter the contacts of the switch or button.

It should be noted that no additional settings are required!

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

Synthesized natural pain reliever 06.02.2016

Morphine as a drug that has an analgesic effect has been known for a long time. Despite its powerful analgesic properties, the use of morphine is limited because it causes respiratory depression and addiction. The latter circumstance forced scientists at Tulane University in New Orleans (USA) to look for an alternative drug that does not cause addiction, and they found it in the form of endomorphine.

Endomorphins are two endogenous opioid peptides that are formed in the human body and play an important role in the formation of motivations, emotions, reactions to stress and pain, and in the control of food intake. Synthesized endomorphine acts on the same opioid receptor as morphine. Therefore, to study the safety and effectiveness, the researchers conducted a series of experiments on rats, which were given both of these substances in equally strong doses. In rats that were injected with morphine, motor skills and breathing were significantly impaired, while endomorphine did not cause such an effect. In addition, the analgesic effects of endomorphine were similar or stronger than those of morphine.

As for dependence, experiments showed that rats spent more time in the compartment where they were injected with morphine and made more efforts to get the next portion of the substance than rats that were given endomorphine. Tests like these reflect the potential for addiction in people.

In addition, endomorphine did not contribute to the activation of glial cells in the spinal cord in the experiments. This effect is usually inherent in morphine and contributes to the development of addiction and abuse of substances. The researchers expect to begin clinical trials within the next two years.
