To work on the construction of a large-scale model of a wind turbine, it is better to organize three teams of 3-4 people each. One team will build the tower, the other will build the head and tail, the third will build the wind wheel.

It is most convenient to work on a long table, workbench or just on a wooden floor. You can also sit on a site with flat, dense soil.

Figure 2 shows the side of the tower from the inside.

The side bars of the lower 1 and upper 2 parts are 300 cm long. Saw off the transverse bars 10 46 cm long. For one side of the tower, you will need five of these bars.

Position the side bars of the lower part of the tower 1 so that there is a distance of 120 cm between their lower ends, and 46 cm between their upper ends. Lay one bar 10 between the upper ends of the side bars. Measure the middle bar 12 and saw off in place. It should be located at half the height of this part of the tower.

Saw out linings 11, 15 from plywood. Their shape is clear from the figure. First, nail the top plate 11 with a width of 25 cm to the side bars, and then connect the side bars with plates 15 to the middle bar 12.

Connect the braces 13 to the side and transverse bars also with the help of pads 14. Make sure that the ends of the transverse bars rest firmly against the side bars. The strength of the structure largely depends on this.

Also assemble the upper part of the tower 2 according to Figure 2. Make sure that the transverse bars are at right angles to the side ones and at an equal distance from each other. The width of the top plate 18 is 10 cm.

After finishing one side of the tower, do exactly the same on the other.

Prepare a set of cross-links and overlays for the other two sides. Side bars are not required for them: the walls will need to be nailed to the side bars of the already made sides of the tower.

It is better to first nail 10 linings to the transverse bars, and then nail the walls to the side bars of the assembled sides. This work must be done on a good basis. If you drive nails into a tower that is not supported, then hammer blows can loosen the joints, and it will not be strong enough.

Nail a piece of plywood 3 onto the top edge of the tower (Fig. 8).

In the middle of it, you need to make a hole with a diameter of 7 cm. Nail four bars near the hole from above. Their inner sides should touch the edges of the hole. These sides of the bars must be upholstered with strips of tin, which will serve as bearings for the upper part of the vertical axis 5, on which the head rotates (Fig. 1 and 4).

Platform 9 for the support bearing (thrust bearing) of the head axis is made from two pieces of plywood, between which a frame of bars with a section of 2x2 cm is laid. In the middle of this platform, nail a circle of two layers of tin. In the center of the circle, make a hole with a diameter of 0,5 cm (it should also be in the plywood boards of the site).

This completes the work on the tower. If everything is done carefully, then such a tower is strong and will withstand the pressure of a strong wind.

Computer games are becoming an increasingly popular form of entertainment among teenagers, but the associated risk of gaming addiction remains a significant problem. American scientists conducted a study to determine the main factors contributing to this addiction and offer recommendations for its prevention. Over the course of six years, 385 teenagers were followed to find out what factors may predispose them to gambling addiction. The results showed that 90% of study participants were not at risk of addiction, while 10% became gambling addicts. It turned out that the key factor in the onset of gambling addiction is a low level of prosocial behavior.
