Mean Well has introduced a series of programmable LED lighting power supplies with a new Smart Timer Dimming feature. The new range is based on the low cost and reliable ELG family.
The Smart Timer Dimming function provides the ability to program the desired dimming profile with smooth transitions, the ability to program the required constant output current in the range of 10-100%, the ability to compensate for LED aging and obtain a stable light output throughout the life of the lamp, as well as several adaptive dimming options . In this case, you can set or select a self-adjusting dimming profile for changing seasonal daylight hours.
Additionally, it is possible at any time to forcibly turn on the power supply to the maximum output current. The drivers have a control of the total operating time and indication of resource depletion.
Using the programming function, you can set a smooth increase in the output current at the moment the power source starts, which will favorably affect the life of the LEDs and the power supply at the time the line is turned on.
