Against freckles benefit strong means that cause peeling. These include sublimate (poisonous, handle with care!), resorcinol, etc. After using these agents, the upper layer of the epidermis is exfoliated, which is sometimes accompanied by painful irritation. In such cases, of course, you need to stop using the remedy.

The best remedy for freckles is a preventive measure. For this, powder or preparations in the form of solutions or ointments with substances that do not transmit ultraviolet rays, which cause the formation of age spots, are used. These substances include quinine and esculin (glucoside composition C35H16O9). For this purpose, grind 1 wt. hours of quinine or esculin with 10 wt. hours of glycerin; apply every morning after washing, rubbing a small amount into the skin.

As a powder that protects against freckles, you can use a mixture of 2 wt. including zinc oxide, 2 wt. hours of the thinnest elutriated red bolus, 3 wt. hours of the thinnest elutriated white bolus, 3 wt. including magnesium carbonate, 10 wt. hours of rice powder. This powder is close to flesh-colored in color and can be tinted yellow with ocher if desired.

We indicate several remedies against freckles, but we emphasize that none of them can fully give the desired result.

1st recipe:

  • Sublimes 1 g;
  • Alcohol of wine 30 g.

Handle with extreme caution, as sublimate is a highly toxic substance.

2st recipe:

  • Resorcinol 5 g;
  • Vaseline 10 g.

3st recipe:

  • Sugar 250 g;
  • Sublimes 10 g;
  • Fresh egg white 150 g;
  • Lemon juice 300 g;
  • Distilled water 3 l.

Dissolve all parts separately in water and mix. This remedy is applied once a day.

Cream for freckles, sunburn and acne

  • Anhydrous lanolin 300 g;
  • Orange oil (from flowers) 1 g;
  • Pork fat 300 g;
  • Vaseline white 500 g;
  • Nadbornonatrium salt 50 g;
  • Zinc oxide 160 g;
  • Rose oil 1 g.

Eau de toilette for sunburn

1st recipe:

  • Glycerin 50 g;
  • Borax 10 g;
  • Sodium sulphate salt 25 g;
  • Distilled water 500 g;
  • Rose water 400 g.

2st recipe:

  • Glycerin 175 g;
  • Citric acid 5 g;
  • Distilled water 300 g;
  • Perfume to smell 15 g.

Dissolve borax in water, separately dissolve sodium sulfide salt in rose water. Mix both solutions and add glycerin.

Method of use

Moisten the face twice a day with this toilet water and allow to dry.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

Electronic control of genes 25.01.2017

We usually don't like bugs and viruses in our digital gadgets, but that seems to be about to change. Scientists have found a way to control the genes of bacteria at the flip of a switch using electricity.

Synthetic biologists are happy to look for ways to connect modified organisms with electronics so that we have living devices and gadgets. The ability to create custom microbes to sense the environment and make biological molecules will be especially valuable for devices that will work inside our bodies, says William Bentley of the University of Maryland. For example, such a device could be used by a living organism to detect chemicals produced by disease-causing bacteria and to isolate the appropriate antibiotic.

In order for certain genes to respond to electrical stimulation, Bentley's team uses so-called redox signaling molecules. These biological molecules are found in all cells, and they are able to pick up and transfer electrons. The scientists also took advantage of natural genetic components in E. coli that respond to oxidative stress, which occurs when too many molecules in the body are oxidized.

To give an electrical charge, the researchers immersed the electrode in a liquid containing bacteria. When the electrode gives a positive charge, redox molecules are oxidized and trigger genetic mechanisms that respond to oxidative stress. With this procedure, Bentley showed how E. coli, when exposed to a discharge, float or begin to glow.

They also made a bacterium release a signaling molecule that makes another bacterium light up, thus showing that it is possible to design one set of bacteria to act on another set of bacteria when they are electrically discharged.

The procedure involves only a small "flashing" of bacteria with careful control of the process. For example, biosensors can be obtained in this way, where modified bacteria can recognize certain substances, for example, identify infections and respond with a glow. According to experts, it will take only a year or two to implement this technology, and then the procedure for merging biological and digital devices can be launched at full speed.
