A major breakthrough in the production technologies of ultra-bright LEDs has made it possible to obtain real LED modules with efficiency. 8-10 times higher than incandescent lamps. One of the leaders in this race is the Luxeon Lumiled LXHL-NW98 module. I tried to replace the bulb of the Zhuchek flashlight produced by the Krasnodar Spare Parts Plant with this LED. To do this, we had to make a voltage multiplier using diodes with a low voltage drop (Schottky or germanium diodes). The effect exceeded all my expectations! I got a blindingly bright flashlight, with very little pressure compared to the lamp version.
