Here is the recipe preparation of toilet soap from previously brewed sound soap.

Cut a good, light, hard, sound soap into small pieces and dissolve them with frequent stirring in a small amount of hot water so that a thick liquid is obtained. After that, a saturated aqueous solution of common salt is added, mixed, and then the mixture is allowed to stand until the solidified soap forms a kind of circle on the surface of the liquid.

This soap is washed in cold water, covered with a handkerchief and allowed to dry completely.

The soap purified in this way is very suitable for the preparation of high-grade toilet soaps.
