Chemical composition: The roots and stems of the plant contain saponins, flavonoids, coumarins and carotenoids.

Economic value: Richter's hodgepodge is used in medicine to treat various diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, diseases of the liver and biliary tract, as well as a diuretic and laxative. Solyanka Richter (Circassian)

A tree or shrub of the Chenopodiaceae family with light gray bark, with alternate, terete, cylindrical, almost filiform leaves 4-8 cm long.

The flowers are small, form a long discontinuous spicate inflorescence. The fruit is a rounded, sessile, winged, one-seeded nutlet.

Blooms from late May to November. The fruits ripen in July.

Range and habitats. Distributed in the desert zones of Central Asia, being a characteristic landscape plant of sandy deserts. The fruits are harvested by hand in September-November, dried in the sun under the open sky.

Chemical composition. The fruits and flowers of the plant contain the alkaloids salsolin and salsolidin.

Application in medicine. Salsolin lowers blood pressure. In the mechanism of the depressant effect, importance is attached to the direct vasodilating effect of the drug, as well as the effect on the medulla oblongata system with its vasomotor center. At the same time, salsolin, enhancing inhibitory processes in the cerebral cortex, has a sedative effect.

Salsolin was used for hypertension stage I and II and dynamic disorders of cerebral circulation. To enhance the hypotensive effect, salsolin was prescribed in combination with sedatives, as well as in combination with diuretics.

Contraindications to the use of the alkaloid are cardiac decompensation, severe violations of the liver and kidneys.

  • Treatment of wounds and burns: mix cherkez powder with vegetable oil until you get the consistency of an ointment. Apply the ointment to the wound or burn and cover with a bandage. Cosmetology:

  • Skin Improvement Mask: mix cherkez powder with some water to make a paste. Apply the paste on the skin of the face and neck and leave for 15-20 minutes, then rinse with warm water. This mask helps to improve blood circulation in the skin, moisturize and soften it, as well as reduce inflammation and irritation.
  • Shampoo for strengthening hair: infuse 2-3 tablespoons of dried cherkez leaves in 1 liter of boiling water. Let it brew for 15-20 minutes, then strain and use the resulting infusion as a shampoo. This shampoo helps strengthen hair, reduce hair fall, and improve texture and shine.

Tips for growing, harvesting and storing Richter's hodgepodge:

Cultivation:

  • Solyanka Richter prefers dry and sunny places, and does not tolerate shading.
  • It can grow in soils with varying levels of fertility, but thrives best in loamy and sandy soils.
  • Richter's saltwort seeds are sown in open ground in spring or autumn. The seeding depth should be approximately 1-2 cm.
  • The distance between plants should be 20-30 cm.
  • Richter's solyanka is drought tolerant, but needs watering during periods of prolonged drought.
  • It is recommended to fertilize the plant with organic and mineral fertilizers.
  • The plant does not require special care, but it is recommended to remove weeds and loosen the soil around the plants.
  • After the appearance of the first shoots, it is recommended to thin out the plants, leaving a distance of 30 cm between them.
  • To prolong the growing and harvesting period, it is recommended to cut off the tops of the plants before flowering begins.

Workpiece:

Toshiba TC3567x Bluetooth Low Energy 4.1 IC 27.07.2016

Toshiba Electronics Europe has introduced three new integrated circuits (ICs) that support the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) version 4.1 communication standard. The TC35678FSG, TC35678FXG, and TC35679FSG are low power and ideal for Bluetooth Smart applications. These include wearables, medical equipment, smartphone accessories, remote controls, and a wide range of emerging IoT solutions.

The use of a DC/DC converter and low-power circuitry can reduce current consumption by about 46% compared to previous devices such as the TC35667FTG, the company says. With a supply voltage of 3 V, the peak current consumption of the IC reaches 3,6 mA in transmit mode and 3,3 mA in receive mode. In deep sleep mode, it drops to 100 nA.

The TC35678FXG and TC35678FSG have 256 KB of on-chip flash ROM to store user programs and data when running offline without requiring an external host microcontroller. The amount of allocated memory for user programs has been increased to 100 KB in both ICs, compared to 64 KB in the previous devices, providing additional expansion options for application programs. Embedded Flash ROM eliminates the need for an external non-volatile PROM and reduces cost and circuit board size by reducing the number of external components.

The TC35678FXG is a version of the TC35678FSG in a QFN60 package that increases the number of general purpose I/O interface pins from 16 to 32. It is designed for applications such as keyboards and remote controls that require a large number of control pins. Unlike the devices described, the TC35679FSG does not have a built-in flash ROM, and therefore its current consumption is even lower. It provides long-term operation of devices powered by small coin-type batteries. For example, using a CR2032 coin cell battery, the new IC can keep the beacon running for more than one year.
