The legume family is the Fabaceae.
Shrub 50-150 cm high. Branches are bare, directed upwards. The leaves are linear or lanceolate, acute, cuneate to the base. The flowers are yellow, on short pedicels, at the ends of the branches in dense racemes; moth corolla. The fruit is a linear bare, slightly curved bean. Seeds are black-brown, elliptical, slightly shiny.
Blooms in June - July. The fruits ripen in August - September.
It grows in dry forests, on their edges, in pine forests, among shrubs, on hillsides, mainly on limestone or sandy soil.
It is found in Asia Minor and Central Asia, the Caucasus and almost throughout Europe.
The plant contains alkaloids (methylcytisine, cytisine, etc.), flavonoids, tannins, triterpene group saponins, resinous substances and organic acids, essential oil (0,02% in leaves and 0,03-0,04% in flowers), pigments luteolin and genistein, ascorbic acid.
The plant is poisonous, especially the seeds. In the aerial part there is a large set of micro and macro elements, especially calcium, potassium, phosphorus, manganese, silicon, barium.
In eastern Transcaucasia, young shoots and flower buds are eaten. They are blanched and then pickled like capers, to which they are not inferior in taste. Overdose should not be allowed, as the plant is toxic.
Clinical trials of infusion from the green parts of the plant gave positive results in the treatment of thyroid diseases, in particular, with its hardening, hypothyroidism. A strong vasodilating, antibacterial effect of the infusion of the aerial part was noted.
In homeopathy, the essence of fresh shoots with leaves and flowers is used. In folk medicine, the aerial part was used for diseases of the liver, migraine, rickets, hypertension, edema, skin diseases; root - for jaundice, malaria, as a tonic, for uterine bleeding, as a diuretic for nephritis and edema of cardiac origin, as a means of promoting the release of chlorides from the body, for salt diathesis, constipation, as well as in mixtures for the treatment of nephritis, gout, arthritis, rheumatism.
Can be used as an ornamental for group plantings and borders in lightly shaded areas. From its flowers and leaves you can get a bright yellow paint.
In France and Italy, it is cultivated as a fibrous plant for the manufacture of a coarse fabric such as burlap.

Storage:

Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX1530/MAX1531, which provide all the supply voltages needed to power TFT LCDs.
Both instruments contain a high performance buck regulator operating at a fixed frequency. The stabilizer has a synchronous structure based on N-channel field-effect transistors, which allows it to operate with an efficiency of up to 93%. The high operating frequency allows the use of inductors and capacitors with a small nominal value, which allows building compact power supplies. The MAX1530 contains three linear regulator controllers, while the MAX1531 contains five regulators to provide power and offset to the LCD.
A programmable power-up sequence makes it easy to control the stabilizers. MAX1530/MAX1531 have a soft start function to avoid current surges when turned on. The output current limiting function can protect the power supply in case of load short circuit. The current control architecture of the MAX1530/MAX1531 provides fast response times to load changes and simplifies compensation. The built-in linear regulator is able to drive the FET and power low power external loads.
The MAX1530/MAX1531 operate at supply voltages up to 28V and are ideal for use in LCD monitors and TVs powered by AC-DC adapters.
