Persons at least 18 years of age who have passed a medical examination and have a certificate of completion of special courses are allowed to service refrigeration units. A driver or electrician may be allowed to independently maintain refrigeration units after completing an internship for a period of at least 1 month. Admission to independent work is issued by order of the enterprise. 1.2. At each enterprise, an order must appoint a person responsible for the good condition, correct and safe operation of refrigeration units. 1.3. The owner of the refrigeration unit is obliged to provide it with the necessary staff of service personnel. 1.4. It is allowed to service the refrigeration unit by one driver per shift, if, according to the conditions of the technological process, cold consumption may temporarily interrupt the refrigeration supply with the refrigeration unit turned off. Otherwise, the refrigeration unit must be serviced by at least two drivers per shift. 1.5. Personnel working in production facilities where technological equipment with direct boiling of ammonia is installed must be instructed in labor protection when using an ammonia direct cooling system. The briefing is carried out by the head of the structural unit in which such equipment is operated. 1.6. For an emergency shutdown of the power supply to all equipment of the refrigeration unit and working lighting, emergency shutdown buttons must be mounted outside on the wall of the engine room - one at the working entrance and at the door of each emergency exit. Simultaneously with the shutdown of the power supply to the equipment, these buttons must turn on emergency and exhaust ventilation, a siren and emergency lighting. 1.7. The engine room must have at least 2 exits, as far as possible from each other, including at least one directly outside (allowed through the vestibule), the total length of the path along the aisles from any point in the engine room to the exit should be no more than 30 m . 1.8. The engine room must be provided with supply and exhaust ventilation. 2. Safety requirements before starting work 2.1. Inspect the overalls and make sure that they are in good condition, put on the overalls, fasten all the buttons. 2.2. Check workplace. Familiarize yourself with the entries in the logbook, which equipment is under repair, which is in operation. 2.3. The floor in the workplace must be level and non-slip. 2.4. Check the serviceability of the instrumentation, blocking devices, the operation of the alarm, illumination. 2.5. Check the presence and serviceability of gas masks. 2.6. Make sure that the equipment is grounded, electrical cabinets are closed with a special key. 3. Safety requirements during work 3.1. During the operation of refrigeration units, do not be distracted from your direct duties and not distract others. 3.2. Monitor the readings of the instrumentation, the temperature of the refrigerating chambers and make the necessary entries in the logbook. 3.3.
