1. General requirements for labor protection

1.1. Personnel authorized to work on a semi-automatic grinding machine must:

receive a safety briefing in accordance with the developed instructions and the instructions of the manufacturer;
follow the safety rules when repairing the machine and installing grinding wheels;
keep semi-automatic devices, tools, devices in good condition and clean;
comply with the requirements of prohibitory, warning, index signs and inscriptions;
comply with internal regulations.

1.2. Personnel must know:

purpose, device, principle of operation of a semiautomatic device;
instructions for the operation and maintenance of the semiautomatic device;
signs, causes and dangerous consequences of malfunctions that occur during the operation of a semi-automatic grinding machine;
the impact on personnel of dangerous and harmful production factors that arise during work;
rules for providing first (pre-medical) aid in case of accidents.

1.3. Semi-automatic grinding machine for processing spectacle lenses along the contour, designed for processing along the contour and obtaining facet on spectacle lenses.

1.4. Checking the technical serviceability of the semi-automatic grinding machine should be carried out before starting the machine into operation.

1.5. During the operation of a semi-automatic device, the following dangerous and harmful factors may affect personnel:

neuropsychic stress.

1.6. Personnel must use the following PPE:

cotton robe;
goggles;
fingertips.

1.7. Personnel must comply with the following fire safety requirements:

do not smoke and do not use open fire;
do not carry out work related to the use of open fire;
about all malfunctions of electrical equipment, immediately call an electrician;
smoke only in designated areas.

1.8. Knowledge of the requirements of this instruction by the personnel is an official duty, and their violation is a violation of labor discipline, which entails disciplinary or other liability in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

2. Labor protection requirements before starting work

2.1. Before starting work, personnel should check:

serviceability of the semi-automatic grinding machine at idle for 2 minutes;
the presence of a protective cover;
availability of grounding;
reliability of fastening of the grinding wheel;
wear the appropriate clothing.

2.2. Circles should be stored in a dry, normally heated room and protected from accidental impacts.

2.3. When receiving a wheel or a stone in the tool pantry for installation on the machine, you should find out if they have been tested at the factory.

2.4. Do not install the wheel on the machine, the number of spindle revolutions of which exceeds the allowable value indicated on the wheel label.

2. 5. The hole diameter of the circle, as a rule, should exceed the diameter of the machine spindle, but not more than 0,3-1 mm, depending on the size of the circle. The purpose of this gap is to prevent overstressing of the wheel and the appearance of cracks when the spindle expands from heat.

2.6. Strengthening the circle on the spindle is allowed only by means of two side pressure plates, screwed together with nuts screwed onto the spindle.

3. Labor protection requirements during work

3.1. After setting the wheel on the machine spindle, the grinding wheel must be subjected to idle rotation at working speed for 2 minutes.

3.2. It is forbidden to adjust the mechanisms, check the tension of the belts on a working semi-automatic device.

3.3. Do not leave foreign objects (keys, parts) on the operating semi-automatic device.

3.4. In case of an accidental power outage, it is necessary to remove the headstock of the product with the lens from the contact zone with the grinding wheel.

3.5. It is forbidden to work without the grinding wheel guard.

3.6. To find out how much force you can clamp the lens to avoid cracking from too much clamping force, it is recommended that you take a thin, defective spectacle lens and clamp it until cracking occurs. This operation does not cause any damage to the semi-automatic.

3.7. To clamp the copier, a clamping mechanism is used, which is a folding bracket with an open mouth.

3.8. The lens processed on the semi-automatic machine takes the shape and dimensions in accordance with the shape and dimensions of the installed copier, but on the semi-automatic device it is possible to obtain a lens of a larger or smaller size relative to the installed copier.

3.9. Periodically check the correct operation of the locking devices.

3.10. To ensure trouble-free operation of the machine, it is necessary that the supply voltage be within 0,95-1,1 of the nominal value, and the frequency deviation from the nominal value within 0,1 Hz.

3.11. It is forbidden to carry out work under voltage and with the control cabinet door open.

3.12. It is necessary to check the condition of the starting equipment 6 times a year. All parts of electrical equipment must be cleaned of dust, dirt, carbon deposits and rust.

4. Labor protection requirements in emergency situations

4.1. If defects in equipment (grinding wheels) are found that pose a danger to the life of personnel and the integrity of equipment, immediately suspend work, turn off electrical equipment if possible, and take measures to eliminate the accident.

4.2. In case of injury on a grinding machine, contact the first-aid post or call an ambulance, notify the master of the injury.

5. Labor protection requirements at the end of work

5.1. To maintain reliable and durable operation of the semi-automatic spindle as a whole, it is necessary to carry out the following work:

every day after the end of work, carry out wet cleaning of the semi-automatic device and especially the processing area and product spindles.
prevent build-up and hardening of the powder on the spindles and seals, as the subsequent start-up increases the load on the drive sharply, and this also leads to rapid wear of the sealing units.

5.2. At the end of work, remove and put away overalls, wash your hands with warm water, take a shower.
