Freon installations must be equipped with instrumentation, automatic protection devices against dangerous operating modes, safety devices in accordance with the requirements of the rules. 3.4. The system of pipelines and vessels of freon installations before being put into operation, periodically during operation and ahead of schedule, are subject to technical examination. The frequency of technical examinations of vessels is established by the manufacturer. In the absence of such instructions, vessels that are not accessible for inspection must be subjected to a strength test with pneumatic pressure at least once every 2 years. The survey is carried out by a person responsible for supervision at the enterprise. 3.5 Do not install freon units on landings, under stairs, in corridors. 3.6. The amount of freon in freon installations located in engine rooms is somewhat limited. 3.7. When placing freon installations in other rooms, the content of freon in the air of the room (with its complete leakage from the system) should not be more than 10% of the volume of the room. 3.8. All moving parts of the machine, as well as machines, apparatus and pipelines in places where they can be subjected to impacts, must be protected. 3.9. The level of illumination in the premises where freon installations are installed must meet the requirements of SNIP. 3.10. The temperature in the machine rooms should not be lower than 16 degrees when the equipment is not in operation. 3.11. Supply and exhaust ventilation in engine rooms should be forced with the frequency of air exchange; supply - at least 3, exhaust - at least 4 per hour. 3.12. The operation of refrigeration units with faulty protection devices is prohibited. 3.13. Operation of refrigerated counters, cabinets, sections that use freon refrigeration units with a capacity of 3000 kcal per hour must be carried out in compliance with the safety requirements specified in the manufacturer's manual. 3.14. In the premises where the freon installation is located, it is necessary to have brand A gas masks (the number of gas masks must correspond to the number of workers in the engine room), as well as in case of an emergency freon leak from the system, to work in a highly gassed room, at least 2 isolating compressed air breathing apparatus ASV type. 4. Safety requirements in emergency situations 4.1. If an electric current is detected on the equipment case and in the event of a sudden interruption in the supply of voltage, turn off the equipment and call an electrician. 4.2. In case of leakage of the freon installation, turn off the installation, put on a filtering gas mask to eliminate the malfunction (it is forbidden to eliminate the malfunction without a gas mask) Inform the management. 4.3. To avoid creating an emergency, do not turn on equipment that is prohibited. 5. Safety requirements at the end of work 5.1. Tidy up the workplace.
