Workers are allowed to work independently after an internship, verification of theoretical knowledge and acquired skills in safe ways of working. In the future, workplace safety briefings should be held at least once every 3 months. 1.2. When transferring to a new job, from temporary to permanent, from one operation to another with a change in the technological process or equipment, employees must be instructed in labor protection at the workplace. 1.3. Conducting all types of briefings must be recorded in the Briefing Log with the obligatory signatures of the person who received and conducted the briefing. 1.4. Each employee is obliged to comply with the requirements of this instruction, labor and production discipline, work and rest regime, all requirements for labor protection, safe work performance, industrial sanitation, fire safety, electrical safety. 1.5. Smoking is allowed only in specially designated areas. The use of alcoholic beverages at work, as well as going to work in a state of alcoholic or drug intoxication, is prohibited. 1.6. When performing work, it is necessary to be attentive, not to be distracted by extraneous affairs and conversations, and not to distract others from work. It is forbidden to sit down and lean on random objects and fences. 1.7. It is forbidden to approach operating machines, installations, machines on which other workers work, distract them with extraneous conversations, turn on or off (except in emergency cases) equipment, transport and lifting mechanisms, work on which is not assigned, go beyond the fences of hazardous areas, into areas technological passages. 1.8. The employer is obliged to provide workers with overalls, safety shoes, as well as personal protective equipment in accordance with the work they perform and in accordance with applicable standards. It is forbidden to work without overalls, safety shoes and other personal protective equipment laid down in accordance with the standards. 1.9. Each employee needs:

Store chemicals in quantities not exceeding the established norms, in a tightly closed container with an inscription on the contents. 1.16. It is forbidden to repair equipment, fix electrical equipment and the electrical network to personnel who do not have access to these works, work near unshielded current-carrying parts, touch electrical wires, general lighting fittings, open doors of electrical cabinets, fencing of knife switches, switchboards and control panels. 1.17. Before smoking or eating, rinse your mouth thoroughly with water, rinse your hands with a 1-2% solution of acetic acid and wash with warm water and soap. 1.18. Do not use lubricants for washing hands. 1.19. It is forbidden to be in the production room after the end of work. 1.20. The employee is responsible in accordance with applicable law for compliance with the requirements of instructions, industrial injuries and accidents that occurred through his fault. 1.21. The control of the implementation of this instruction is assigned to the head of the department. 2. Safety requirements before starting work 2.1. Put on your uniform, put it in order. Remove piercing and cutting objects from pockets. 2.2. Inspect equipment and work area. Prepare all devices and devices for work, check their serviceability. 2.3. Check the presence of cooling water and its pressure. 2.6. Turn the machine several times by hand, checking its smoothness, correct operation of the mechanisms and the installation of the spindle. 2.7. Check the fit of the matrix frame to the mould. 2.8. Check whether the local exhaust and general supply and exhaust ventilation systems are turned on; it should be remembered that ventilation should be turned on for 10 - 15 minutes. before starting work. 2.9. Check and adjust workplace lighting. 2.10. Immediately inform the supervisor of the noticed shortcomings and malfunctions in the workplace and do not start work until the troubleshooting and permission to work. 3. Safety requirements during work 3.1. The cone of the centering spindle must be precisely calibrated according to the conical hole of the die, have a flat, smooth surface, and during casting, freely and in a timely manner enter the conical holes of the dies placed on the casting mold. 3.2. Before the final fixing of the casting mold in the machine, check the correctness and tightness of its fit to the walls of the piston chambers. 3.3. To stop the machine, you must first turn off the pump mechanism and open the paper tower nozzle, and then disconnect the machine from the power supply. 3.4. When removing, inserting or bringing the crucible into the working position, as well as when cleaning the machine, cover the mouthpiece of the crucible with a special cap. 3.5. Do not stand to the left of the caster, as clothing may be caught in the rotating hand wheel. 3.6. When checking the set, especially when editing at the beginning of a line, be careful not to hit the matrix box. 3.7. Lines should be edited after the string-capturing hook returns to its original position. 3.8. Thread the ribbon carefully while the machine is running, and only when the paper transport mechanism is turned off. 3.9. Before turning on the pump, check the correct installation of the matrix frame, matrix set-wedge rods and spindle, as well as the temperature of the alloy and cooling water to avoid splashing of the alloy. 3.10. It is forbidden: 3.11. work with casting molds that have wear in height of more than 0,04 mm; 3.12. lean over a boiler with molten metal; 3.13. overfill the boiler with metal, as well as load wet ingots and type-setting material contaminated with paints and oils into it; 3.14. allow the accumulation of metal chips, dust and sawdust on the floor near the machine and in the area; 3.15. use the wrong tool; 3.16. allow persons who are not related to the assigned work to the workplace. 3.17. When servicing the boilers and the pump, wear protective goggles and combined gloves. 3.18. Immerse alloy ingots into the boiler carefully, do not throw. 3.19. Keep alloy ingots in closed metal boxes away from windows and pipes supplying water. 3.20. Collect metal waste in metal, tightly closed boxes. 4. Safety requirements in emergency situations 4.1. In case of fire, immediately turn off the equipment, turn off the power supply, with the exception of the lighting network. Report the fire to everyone working in the room and proceed to extinguish the fire with the available fire extinguishing equipment. 4.2. If voltage (sensation of current) is detected on the metal parts of the equipment, the electric motor is buzzing, the ground wire is broken, the equipment should be turned off immediately, report to the foreman about the malfunction of the electrical equipment and do not start work without his permission. 4.3. In the event of a power outage and vibration or excessive noise, turn off the equipment. 4.4. In case of metal emissions or any malfunctions, immediately disconnect the machine from the mains. 4.5. In the event of a spill of mercury from the thermostat, immediately inform the work manager. Collect mercury immediately, preventing it from getting into floor cracks, machine mechanisms, etc. It is forbidden to collect mercury with bare hands, for this use amalgamated copper plates and a brush. Place the collected mercury in a vessel with water, and locally degas the room with a 3% solution of potassium permanganate or sodium polysulfide. 4.6. In case of injury, first of all, release the victim from the traumatic factor, notify the work manager, call for medical assistance, provide first aid to the victim and maintain a traumatic situation until the causes of the incident are investigated. 5. Safety requirements at the end of work 5.1. Raise the ventilation hood above the boiler, move the boiler, remove and wipe the piston, remove the slag from the metal surface with a dry spoon and pour it into a tightly closed metal box, turn off the compressed air supply taps, turn off the boiler electric heater, make an entry in the journal about the state of the equipment.
