General requirements for labor protection 1.1. To operate a floor-operated gantry crane, workers who have passed a medical examination, have been trained and have received safety instructions, at least 18 years old, who have certificates for the right to operate this lifting mechanism and an electrical safety group of at least II, are allowed. 1.2. The gantry crane must have a tag with designations: numbers, load capacity, terms of technical examination. 1.3. Removable lifting devices (slings) must have a tag indicating: date of manufacture, number and load capacity. 1.4. The metal parts of the lifting machine must be grounded. 1.5. Lifting machines must have sound and light alarms. 1.6. The KKT-5 gantry crane must be equipped with automatic devices (limit switches, load limiters) that ensure safe operation. 1.7. The load hook of the KKT-5 crane must be provided with a safety device (lock) 1.8. For the work of the crane operator, free passage must be provided for the person operating the machine. 1.9. Ensure that there are no people at the work site who are not related to the work being performed. 3.2. Before lifting a load, make sure that the weight of the load does not exceed the capacity of the crane and lifting devices. 3.3. when lifting a load of maximum weight, first raise it by at least 200-300 mm to make sure that the brakes are working properly, and then lift it to the required height. 3.4. Loads moving in a horizontal direction should be lifted 0,5 m above the objects encountered on the way. 3.5. Stowage and disassembly of cargo should be carried out evenly, without violating the dimensions of the cargo established for storage and without blocking the aisles. 3.6. It is forbidden to pull the load to the side during lifting, lowering and moving. 3.7. The place of work should be well lit. 3.8. During operation, check that the brakes are in good working order. 3.9. It is forbidden to use limit switches as working bodies for automatic stop of mechanisms. 3.10. In the area of operation of the KKT-5 gantry crane, a security zone with a radius of at least 7 m should be established. 3.11. It is forbidden to lift the load in an unstable position in containers filled above the sides, move the load in places where the fall of the load can cause an explosion, fire or other dangerous consequences. 3.12. When the gantry crane is in operation, it is not allowed:

The permit for the operation of the crane after repair is issued by the person responsible for the good condition with an entry in the logbook. 4.
