General safety requirements 1.1. Persons at least 18 years of age who have passed a medical examination, training and instruction for the right to work, as well as those who have the I qualification group in electrical safety, trained in safety rules in the gas industry, are allowed to work as a car driver (transportation of LPG). 1.2. The driver of the car (for the transportation of LPG) is responsible for the correct operation of the tanker's car, the implementation of safety regulations in the gas industry and traffic. 1.3. The layout of the tanker should allow for maintenance and current repairs by mobile means. The frequency of technical inspection of the equipment should coincide with the frequency of maintenance of the chassis of the base vehicle. 1.4. The design of the tank truck must ensure the safety of the operating personnel. 1.5. Tank trucks must have devices for the removal of static electricity when they are filled (drained) and in motion. 1.6. The exhaust pipe of the tank truck engine must be moved to the right side forward. The design of the exhaust pipe must allow the user to install a spark arrester. 1.7. The tank truck is equipped with fire extinguishing means (two powder fire extinguishers). 1.8. Two "danger" signs, a flashing red lamp, a felt mat, a sand container weighing 25 kg should be placed on the tanker. 1.9. On the sides and back must be the inscription "flammable". 1.10. The connecting devices of the sleeves must be made of materials that do not create sparks upon impact. 1.11. The electrical wiring located in the tank area is laid in places protected from mechanical influences. Wire connections must be covered. 1.12. The tank truck must have tables with brief operating and safety instructions, as well as warning labels, hydraulic and kinematic schematic diagrams. 1.13. On the tank truck (on the left side in the direction of travel) there should be a sign with a warning inscription: "when loading and unloading LPG, the tank truck must be grounded." 1.14. The inner diameter of the inspection manhole must be at least 500mm. 1.15. Identification signs (dangerous goods) in the form of a rectangle measuring 690X300mm should be installed on the tanker truck, the right side of which is 400X300mm in size, painted orange, and the left side is white with a black border 15cm wide. 1.16.
