General safety requirements are set out in the Instruction "General safety requirements for professions and types of work in furniture production". 1.2. Hazardous production factors: moving machines and mechanisms, moving parts of production equipment, moving products, workpieces, materials. Sources of factors: a rotating drill, moving and rotating parts of the equipment, insufficient fixing of the part. Effect of factors: the possibility of contact with the cutting tool, the possibility of contact with moving and rotating parts of the equipment, the possibility of parts flying out. 1.3. Personal protective equipment: cotton suit; goggles. 2. Safety requirements before starting work 2.1. Check the sharpness of the sharpening of the drill, make sure that there are no cracks, notches. 2.2. Check the strength of the drill in the chuck. The attachment of the cutting tool must ensure its precise centering. 2.3. Make sure that the electrical equipment, braking and grounding devices are in good condition. 2.4. Check the correctness of the clamping device. 2.5. Check the presence and serviceability of the automatically operating fence, which allows you to see the working part of the machine. 2.6. Check the correct direction of the air jet of the nozzle designed to blow the chips out of the holes. 3. Safety requirements during work 3.1. The workpieces to be processed are firmly fixed with clamps. 3.2. Monitor the air supply for blowing the drilled holes. 3.3. Do not work in gloves. 3.4. Be careful not to get your fingers under the presser foot. 3.5. If the bar is stuck, do not correct it while the machine is running. 3.6. Inspection, cleaning, wiping, checking the quality of the processing of the part, fixing the fences, removing waste from the machine only when the machine is completely stopped. 3.7. If there is a knock, vibration, change in the nature of the noise, overheating of the cutting tool, turn off the machine and inform the master. 4. Safety requirements in emergency situations 4.1. Turn off equipment. 4.2. Post a table about the malfunction of the machine or equipment and report this to the direct management. 4.3. In the event of a fire or extinguishing a flame, use a nearby fire extinguisher. 4.4. The victim or bystander must notify the appropriate work manager of each accident or poisoning. 4.5. The worker must be able to provide first aid. Such assistance is provided immediately, directly at the scene and in the following sequence: first you need to eliminate the energy source of injury (switch off the engine, stop the mechanism, remove the victim from under the car, a heavy object, etc.). Assistance should begin with the most significant that threatens life or health (in case of severe bleeding, apply a tourniquet, and then bandage the wound; if a closed fracture is suspected, apply a splint; with open fractures, first bandage the wound and then apply a splint; in case of burns, apply a dry bandage ; in case of frostbite, gently rub the affected area using soft or fluffy tissues). If spinal injury is suspected, transport the victim only in the supine position on a rigid base. 4.6. After providing first aid, the victim should be sent to the nearest medical facility. 5. Safety requirements at the end of work 5.1. Turn off equipment. Wait for it to come to a complete stop. Tidy up the workplace: remove tools, fixtures; clean the machine from dirt and dust; wipe and lubricate the rubbing parts of the machine; neatly fold the finished parts and the remaining material. 5.2. Cleaning of wood waste (sawdust, shavings, dust) from the surface of the equipment, as well as from overalls, is carried out with a brush, sweep or using vacuum cleaners. It is unacceptable to blow the machine and clothes with compressed air. 5.3. Rags used during work and when cleaning, put the rags in a special metal box with a closing lid and take it outside the workshop to a specially designated place. 5.4.
