General requirements for labor protection 1.1. General safety requirements are set out in the Instruction "General safety requirements for professions and types of work in furniture production". 1.2. Hazardous production factors: moving machines and mechanisms, moving parts of production equipment; moving parts of the product, blanks, materials. Sources of factors: rotating parts of the conveyor, pneumatic gun, hand tools. Effects of factors: contact of the hands of the person working with the moving and rotating parts of the conveyor, possible injury to the fingers when the compressed air hoses are torn off, staples from the pneumatic gun, a needle and a hammer. 1.3. Personal protective equipment: cotton apron. 2. Safety requirements before starting work 2.1. Check the serviceability of the feeders, mechanisms for switching on and stopping the conveyor; make sure that there are no foreign objects on the conveyor, as well as the presence of guards and the reliability of their fastening. 2.2. Check the serviceability of the air gun and the strength of the compressed air hose at the joints using fittings and clamps. 3. Safety requirements during work 3.1. Be careful when working with hand tools (pneumatic gun, hammer, needle, etc.). The distance between the hand supporting the material and the air gun must be at least 100 mm. 3.2. Use the tool only for its intended purpose. 3.3. When attaching springs to a wooden frame with an air gun, use a special hook to tighten the springs. 3.4. Monitor the serviceability of the hoses and their fastening in local suctions. 3.5. Do not twist hoses or drop pneumatic tools. 3.6. Do not process parts or use materials that are defective. 3.7. When performing stitching work by hand, use fingertips. 3.8. During a break in work and charging the air gun with staples, turn off the air supply. 3.9. Coordinate their actions with the actions of other workers serving the conveyor. 3.10. Avoid scattering nails, hanging cord with a needle. At the end of the stitching work, remove the needle into a special device for storing it. 4. Safety requirements in emergency situations 4.1. Turn off equipment. 4.2. Post a table about the malfunction of the machine or equipment and report this to the direct management. 4.3. In the event of a fire or extinguishing a flame, use a nearby fire extinguisher. 4.4. The victim or bystander must notify the appropriate work manager of each accident or poisoning. 4.5. The worker must be able to provide first aid. Such assistance is provided immediately, directly at the scene and in the following sequence: first you need to eliminate the energy source of injury (switch off the engine, stop the mechanism, remove the victim from under the car, a heavy object, etc.). Assistance should begin with the most significant that threatens life or health (in case of severe bleeding, apply a tourniquet, and then bandage the wound; if a closed fracture is suspected, apply a splint; with open fractures, first bandage the wound and then apply a splint; in case of burns, apply a dry bandage ; in case of frostbite, gently rub the affected area using soft or fluffy tissues). If spinal injury is suspected, transport the victim only in the supine position on a rigid base. 4.6. After providing first aid, the victim should be sent to the nearest medical facility. 5. Safety requirements at the end of work 5.1. Turn off equipment. Wait for it to come to a complete stop. Tidy up the workplace: remove tools, fixtures; clean the machine from dirt and dust; wipe and lubricate the rubbing parts of the machine; neatly fold the finished parts and the remaining material. 5.2. Cleaning of wood waste (sawdust, shavings, dust) from the surface of the equipment, as well as from overalls, is carried out with a brush, sweep or using vacuum cleaners. It is unacceptable to blow the machine and clothes with compressed air. 5.3. Rags used during work and when cleaning, put the rags in a special metal box with a closing lid and take it outside the workshop to a specially designated place. 5.4.
