Why do moths eat wool?

There is a moth that is known as clothes moth, and most people consider it to be responsible for making holes in our clothes, furs and carpets. But the moth is not at all involved in this damage.

The mole never eats. She lives only to lay her eggs and then die. All the damage is done by her offspring when they are in the caterpillar stage.

Moths lay their eggs in wool, furs, carpets and other items. After about a week, the eggs turn into caterpillars. Caterpillars is the common name for butterfly larvae, moths and sawflies.

A good way is to put it in paper or a tight box: moths do not eat clothes through paper. Tablets repel moths, but do not destroy already laid eggs and caterpillars that may have already appeared.

New Toshiba Robot Vacuum Cleaners 29.08.2014

In September, the Japanese corporation Toshiba will start selling new robotic vacuum cleaners of the Torneo Robo series, which are characterized by an improved design and enhanced dust and debris collection capabilities.

In total, the novelties are equipped with 27 different sensors, which include numerous ultrasonic and infrared sensors. They help to identify walls, interior items and various obstacles, including objects made of glass. In addition, thanks to sensors, the robot can maintain a constant distance to walls when moving along them, as well as detect sudden changes in height and prevent tipping over (for example, from a ladder).

New vacuum cleaners received side brushes with extended bristles, which allows you to collect more dirt. The rotating brushes are height adjustable for maximum efficiency in picking up debris and dust on a variety of surfaces.

The new series includes the VC-RCX1, VC-RVD1 and VC-RV1 models. The first two come with a charging dock equipped with a waste container. Thus, during recharging, the dirt accumulated in the vacuum cleaner is transferred to a stationary tank, which ensures a constant suction power.

The VC-RCX1 version also has a built-in camera and Bluetooth wireless technology, allowing you to control the operation using your smartphone or tablet.

The VC-RCX1, VC-RVD1, and VC-RV1 robot vacuum cleaners will cost approximately $1150, $860, and $720, respectively.
