  • at the start of snow removal;
  • when reversing;
  • in areas of limited visibility.

1.9. Refuel the car with fuel when the engine is not running.

1.10. The driver must take special care when pouring hot water into the cooling system. On a hot engine, open the radiator cap using a glove or covering it with a rag. The cork should be opened carefully, preventing intense steam from escaping.

2.2. Upon arrival at the work site, the driver is obliged to carefully familiarize himself with the nature and conditions of work, the condition of the road and transfer the snowplow from the transport position to the working position.

3. Safety requirements during work

3.1. During operation, control of the snow blower must not be transferred to another person. Under no circumstances should any work, even short-term work, be carried out under the blade of a snow plow that is in a raised state, without supports that prevent the blade from lowering.

3.2. When operating a snowplow, the driver must monitor the blade and, if significant obstacles are detected, stop the machine and take measures to eliminate them.

3.3. When working together and simultaneously in one area, several snowplows moving one after the other must be passed only if a safe distance of at least 20 m is strictly observed between them.

3.4. The driver must keep the cab, controls and all instruments dry and clean. It is prohibited to clutter the snow blower cabin with foreign objects and store fuel in it. There should be no unauthorized persons in the cabin who are not related to snow removal work.

3.5. The snowplow driver must not:

  • driving while intoxicated;
  • transfer control of the car to unauthorized persons;
  • carry out bunkering of the car in order to start the engine;
  • wipe the engine with a rag soaked in gasoline.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Indestructible composite glass for smartphones and TVs 14.11.2021

A team of scientists has developed a new technology for the production of ultra-strong composite glass for smartphones and other devices.

Employees of the University of Queensland (Australia), the University of Leeds (UK), the University of Paris-Saclay (France) and the University of Cambridge (UK). According to the authors, they were able to process the glass nanocrystals in such a way that now it does not break and provides a clear image.

The emitting materials are made from lead halide crystals called perovskites. They absorb sunlight and convert it into electricity, helping to save energy. Of them, for example, make cheap solar panels of a new generation. The main disadvantage of perovskites is their sensitivity to light, heat, water and even air - ordinary water vapor destroys perovskites in a matter of seconds. A team of researchers has found a way to bind porous glass nanocrystals and protect them from the environment.

This process is key to stabilizing materials, improving their performance, and preventing toxic lead ions from being leached from materials.

The technology can be implemented in many areas, including creating screens from perovskite crystals that surpass QLED (Quantum Dot Light-Emitting Diode Displays) in image quality and performance. These are installed on the best modern TVs.

"We can not only make these nanocrystals stronger, but also tune their optoelectronic properties in such a way that the efficiency of light emission is simply fantastic," the scientists noted.
