Persons at least 18 years of age who are recognized as fit for this work by a medical professional are allowed to work as a driver of a snowplow vehicle. It is not allowed to operate a snowplow in the dark without lighting. 2. Safety requirements before starting work 2.1. The driver is required to check the snow plow, determine the condition of the working surfaces of the blade, blades, attachment points of the coupling and main frames, the blade lifting mechanism and the transfer case. 2.2. Upon arrival at the work site, the driver is obliged to carefully familiarize himself with the nature and conditions of work, the condition of the road and transfer the snowplow from the transport position to the working position. 3. Safety requirements during work 3.1. During operation, control of the snow blower must not be transferred to another person. Under no circumstances should any work, even short-term work, be carried out under the blade of a snow plow that is in a raised state, without supports that prevent the blade from lowering. 3.2. When operating a snowplow, the driver must monitor the blade and, if significant obstacles are detected, stop the machine and take measures to eliminate them. 3.3. When working together and simultaneously in one area, several snowplows moving one after the other must be passed only if a safe distance of at least 20 m is strictly observed between them. 3.4. The driver must keep the cab, controls and all instruments dry and clean. It is prohibited to clutter the snow blower cabin with foreign objects and store fuel in it. There should be no unauthorized persons in the cabin who are not related to snow removal work. 3.5. The snowplow driver must not:
4. Safety requirements in emergency situations 4.1. If leaded gasoline gets into your eyes, seek medical attention immediately. 4.2. In the event of a traffic accident, the driver involved in it must: Stop immediately and do not move the car, as well as other objects related to the incident. Notify traffic police officers. If necessary, call an ambulance, or send the victim by passing transport to the nearest medical facility and provide your name and vehicle number there, and then return to the scene of the incident. Report the incident to the police, write down the names of eyewitnesses. Clear the roadway, having previously recorded the position of the vehicle, and notify the work manager. 5. Safety requirements after completion of work 5.1. After returning from the line, the snowplow driver, together with the mechanic, must check the vehicle. If necessary, the driver must submit a request for routine repairs with a list of faults to be eliminated. 5.2. When storing the vehicle outside of a garage in the winter, drain the water from the radiator and engine and tighten the parking brake lever. 5.3. Wash hands with soap and warm water, take a shower.
