This instruction regulates the basic safety requirements when working with belt conveyors (hereinafter referred to as conveyors). 2. Persons at least 18 years of age who have the appropriate qualifications and have passed the following are allowed to work as a conveyor: a) medical examination; b) introductory briefing; in the initial briefing at the workplace; c) an internship under the guidance of an experienced worker; d) checking knowledge on labor protection issues in the main profession and types of work performed; e) checking knowledge on electrical safety and certified for 1 qualification group on electrical safety; 3. A worker who has not passed a timely re-instruction on labor protection and an appropriate annual knowledge test should not start work. 4. It is not allowed to use tools, fixtures and equipment that the worker is not trained to handle. 5. The worker must comply with the fire safety rules, as well as the internal labor regulations. 6. PPE is issued in accordance with the Rules for the issuance of personal protective equipment according to the profession. 11. The worker must perform only the work entrusted to him by his immediate supervisor. During work, you must be attentive, not be distracted by extraneous matters and conversations. 12. Report violations of safety requirements at your workplace, as well as malfunctions of tools and personal protective equipment, to inform your immediate supervisor and do not start work until the noticed deficiencies are eliminated. 13. For drinking, it is necessary to use water from devices specially designed for this purpose. 17. Labor protection requirements before starting work 18. Before starting work on the conveyor, it is necessary to put the clothes in order: fasten, tie the cuffs of the sleeves, pick up the hanging ends, put on a hat. 19. Inspect the workplace; remove from under your feet everything that interferes with work. If the floor is slippery, demand that it be mopped or do it yourself. Moving parts of conveyors must be fenced in areas of permanent jobs associated with the technological process on the conveyor, or along the entire route of the conveyor, if there is free access or constant passage near the conveyor of persons not related to the maintenance of the conveyor. 28. Fencing should be made of metal sheets, mesh and other durable materials. 29. In mesh fences, the mesh size should be chosen so that access to the fenced parts of the conveyor is excluded. 30. Conveyor guards must be reliable, durable, openable (on hinges, hinges) or removable, made of separate sections. For ease of maintenance of conveyors, doors and covers should be provided in the fences. 31. Guards of drive and tension stations of conveyors, doors and covers, allowing them to be removed or opened without the use of special tools, must be equipped with devices to securely hold them in the closed (working) position and interlocked with the conveyor drive to turn it off when removed (opened) fences. 32. In the area where people can be found, the following should be protected or protected: drive, tension and deflection drums, belt and other gears, clutches, etc., as well as support rollers and rollers of the lower branch of the belt; 33. Conveyors intended for the transportation of piece goods are equipped along the entire length with boards with a height of at least 200 mm. 34. Conveyors of short length (up to 10 m) in the head and tail sections must be equipped with emergency buttons to stop the "Stop" fungal type conveyor. 35. When equipping the entire route of the conveyors with a rope switch, which makes it possible to stop the conveyors from any place, it is allowed not to install emergency buttons to stop the conveyor in the head and tail parts. 36. Conveyors with an open track in places of increased danger, as well as conveyors of great length (more than 10 m) must be additionally equipped with switching devices that allow stopping the conveyor in emergency situations from any place along its length from the side of the passage for its maintenance. 37. In the conveyor control circuit, a blocking must be provided, which excludes the possibility of restarting the drive until the emergency is eliminated. 38. Conveyors must have devices that turn off the conveyor when the belt or cable tensioners break. If there are several start buttons on one conveyor installed in different places, they must be electrically interlocked so that accidental start of the conveyor is excluded. 39. Places for periodic lubrication of conveyors should be accessible without removing the protective devices. 40. The installation of the conveyor must be carried out under the guidance of an employee responsible for the safe operation of continuous vehicles. 41.
