General safety requirements Persons who are at least 30 years old, have passed a medical examination, have a certificate for the right to work on the equipment entrusted to them, have undergone introductory instruction, on-the-job instruction and training in safe methods are allowed to work independently on the AS-43, AS-18 "Befama" plucking machine. and labor methods during 2-14 shifts. Those working on the AS-30, AS-43 plucking machine are required to comply with the internal regulations of the enterprise, incl. start and end times of work, breaks and their duration. Smoking in production and auxiliary premises and on the territory of the enterprise is permitted only in places specially designated for this purpose, marked “Smoking area”, provided with fire extinguishing means and equipped with bins or a box with sand. Persons in a state of drug or alcohol intoxication are not allowed to be on the territory of the enterprise, both during working and non-working hours; persons in a state of intoxication are subject to immediate removal from the territory with the drawing up of an act of removal from work. Those working on a plucking machine are required to observe labor and technological discipline and perform only the work assigned to them by their immediate supervisor. Do not allow persons unrelated to the assigned work to enter the workplace. While working on a plucking machine, workers may be exposed to the following hazardous and harmful production factors: 1. moving machines and mechanisms 2. belt, gear and chain drives 3. transported and stored goods 4. dangerous voltage in an electrical circuit, the short circuit of which can occur through the human body 5. unenclosed rotating equipment 6. Increasing noise level 7. increased dust content in the air of the working area Workers at the enterprise must use special clothing, safety footwear and personal protective equipment. It is not allowed to obstruct fire passages and the machine service area. In the event of a fire, immediately turn off the equipment, use primary fire extinguishing means (fire extinguisher, fire hydrant, sand, etc.), inform the administration or fire department. Do not start working on equipment that is faulty or does not have guards and immediately inform the administration. In the event of an accident, turn off the equipment, provide first aid to the victim, inform the administration and maintain the situation of the incident, if this does not create a danger to others. Those working on a plucking machine must be able to provide first aid to a victim in an accident. Those working on the plucking machine are required to observe the rules of personal hygiene. Before eating, wash your hands with soap, take a shower after work, etc. Those working on a plucking machine are required to comply with labor safety standards, rules and regulations. Trained and instructed workers bear full responsibility for violation of labor safety instructions in accordance with current legislation. 2. Safety requirements before starting work Put on overalls, fasten them with all the buttons, tuck your hair under your headdress without hanging ends. Wear personal protective equipment. Overalls and safety shoes must be of appropriate sizes and not restrict movement; check the condition of the workplace. Remove foreign objects. Make sure that the floors, footrests are in good condition. Make sure that grounding devices are available and in good condition. Check the installation and serviceability of fences, blocking devices and alarms. Make sure the work area is adequately lit. Proceed to work after elimination of all violations. Proceed and set the direction of plucking (loosening “down” or “up”), and also set the guide plates accordingly. Prepare the raw material for loosening, check whether the distance of the feed rollers and pegs of the plucking drum corresponds to the recommended values for raw materials: 2-3 mm across the entire working width. Check the tension of the conveyor belts. Check the operation of the overload clutches. Check brake operation. Check that the drum bearings are lubricated, as well as the feed shaft liners. Before starting, be sure to check that the guards are in place. Before starting the machine, turn on the main switch located on the control cabinet. 3. Safety requirements during work You should take a comfortable position for work. Unpack bales only with tongs. When working with wire, you must be careful not to injure yourself and surrounding workers with the pliers. When using a knife when unpacking bags, direct the knife edge away from you. Monitor the uniform supply of raw materials on the table and avoid overloading the main engines. Do not allow metal parts to enter the machine, which may cause an accident. Pay attention to the correct operation of the conveyor. During work, the guards, the space above the feed rollers and the plucking drums must not be opened when plucking upwards. Do not open the front guard during operation. There is protection for the feed rollers from supplying excessive amounts of raw materials, and the forward movement of the conveyors is automatically turned off. It is necessary to return some of the raw materials by turning on the feeding device in the opposite direction. Do not leave a running machine without a conveyor. 4. Safety requirements in emergency situations In the event of an emergency (jammed, a burning smell, a vibration of the machine, the engine caught fire), immediately turn off the power to the Befama, stop the power supply, and put up a sign “Do not turn on, people are working.” Call a foreman and fix the problem. Do not start working on this equipment until the faults are completely eliminated. In the event of an accident, the victim or eyewitness is obliged to immediately notify the foreman or shop manager, who must organize first aid for the victim and send him to a medical center. 5. Safety requirements at the end of work Turn off the machine, put up a sign "Do not turn on, people are working." Make sure the machine comes to a complete stop and only then begin cleaning and tidying up. When cleaning and cleaning the machine, use hooks. Remove wire, cardboard from the workplace. Clear aisles.
