Safe Operation

1. General safety requirements

1.1. Persons at least 1 years old who have previously passed a medical examination, as well as an introductory safety briefing and briefing at the workplace, who have studied this manual and have been trained in safe working methods at the workplace, who have worked for 18-12 shifts, are allowed to service the A14-PMPPZ automobile sampler under the supervision of an experienced worker, having a work permit after an internship and having a safety certificate.

1.2. The employee must know and comply with the internal labor regulations of the plant. Before work and during work, do not allow the use of alcoholic beverages, narcotic and toxic drugs. Smoking is allowed only in specially designated areas.

1.3. The employee must know and comply with the safety requirements when using the elevator. When walking up stairs, hold on to the railing. Observe safety precautions while on site.

1.4. The following hazardous and harmful production factors may affect the sampler in the process of work:

  • moving machines and mechanisms;
  • increased or decreased air temperature of the working area;
  • increased voltage in the electrical circuit, the closure of which can occur through the human body.

1.5. According to industry standards for the free distribution of overalls and personal protective equipment, the employee is provided with overalls.

1.6. The employee is obliged to know and comply with the requirements of this instruction, the rules of personal hygiene, and the correct use of overalls.

1.7. When operating the sampler, the employee must know and comply with the requirements of the rules for the technical operation of electrical installations, the passport for the sampler, the PNP 2000 aspirator, the MS50-P oil station, and the RC cyclone.

1.8. The employee must know the rules of fire safety, know the procedure for actions in case of fire, be able to use primary fire extinguishing equipment.

1.9. In the event of an accident, it is necessary to provide first (pre-medical) aid to the victim, inform the immediate supervisor, call a doctor if necessary, maintain the workplace environment and the condition of the equipment as they were at the time of the accident, if this does not threaten the health and life of others and does not lead to accidents.

1.10. The employee is responsible for violation of the requirements of this instruction in accordance with the procedure established by the Internal Labor Regulations of the plant and the current legislation.

2. Safety requirements before starting work.

2.1. Before starting work, it is necessary to put on overalls, fasten the cuffs of the sleeves.

2.2. To get acquainted with the results of the work of the previous shift, to make an external inspection of the equipment.

2.3. Before starting work, you must:

  • visual inspection to make sure that the sampler is ready for operation;
  • check the serviceability and reliability of fastening of the main components and parts;
  • make sure that the electrical equipment is in good condition and the hydraulic system is ready.

2.4. Check whether the equipment is grounded, whether the workplace is sufficiently lit.

2.5. If equipment malfunctions are found, inform the immediate supervisor and take measures to eliminate them.

2.6. It is forbidden to work on faulty equipment.

3. Safety requirements during work

3.1. It is allowed to put the sampler into operation only after checking that there are no people in the car body under the sampler and the car has come to a complete stop.

3.2. Before entering under the sampler, the driver must remove the tarpaulin from the grain mound.

3.3. In the course of work it is necessary:

  • to be attentive;
  • monitor the passage of the probe over the sides of the car body in order to avoid breakage of the sampler;
  • monitor the absence of knocks in the pump;
  • monitor the level of the working fluid in the tank;
  • monitor the absence of oil leakage from plugs, covers, through seals, etc.;
  • avoid working in modes with frequent overloads;
  • upon detection of malfunctions affecting the safe operation of the sampler, suspend operation until the identified defects are eliminated.

3.4. Difficult conditions and urgency of work are not grounds for violating security measures.

3.5. It is forbidden:

  • work on a defective sampler and in the absence of grounding in accordance with applicable regulations;
  • allow unauthorized persons to control the sampler;
  • be under the retractable arm during sampling;
  • regulate and eliminate defects on the included sampler;
  • adjust the pressure in excess of the working one;
  • leave the sampler after the end of work connected to the power source;
  • open the vacuum cleaner after connecting the power cord to the mains;
  • turn the vacuum cleaner on and off with wet hands;
  • use a vacuum cleaner with defective cord insulation.

3.6. Clean up the workplace with proper equipment.

3.7. When manually sampling from a vehicle, it is necessary to use a ramp, a serviceable probe, and a serviceable portable ladder. Sampling should be carried out only after the driver stops the car and exits the cab.

4. Safety requirements in emergency situations.

4.1. Accidents and accidents can lead to:

  • ingress of metal objects into the equipment;
  • pressing the product, increased dustiness;
  • the presence of voltage on the body of electrical equipment;
  • damage to the insulation of the electrical wiring;
  • getting into the danger zone of the equipment (grabbing hands, clothes, etc.).

4.2. In emergency situations it is necessary:

  • in case of damage to equipment, cables, wires, grounding failure, burning smell, unusual noise and other malfunctions, immediately turn off the power supply to the equipment and report the incident to the immediate supervisor and the person who maintains the equipment;
  • in the event of a fire in electrical wiring, equipment, immediately turn off the power supply and take measures to extinguish the fire using the available primary fire extinguishing equipment, report the incident to the immediate supervisor and the fire department by phone _______. The use of water and foam fire extinguishers for live electrical equipment is unacceptable. Carbon dioxide fire extinguishers are used for this purpose;
  • in case of a sudden deterioration in health (increased heart rate, headache, etc.), stop work, turn off the equipment, inform the manager about this and, if necessary, consult a doctor.

4.3. In the event of an accident at work, it is necessary:

  • quickly take measures to prevent the impact on the victim of traumatic factors, provide the victim with first aid, call the medical staff of the medical center to the scene of the incident by calling _______ or deliver the victim to a medical institution;
  • report the incident to the manager.

5. Safety requirements at the end of work

5.1. At the end of work, turn off all equipment.

5.2. Put in order the workplace, serviced equipment.

5.3. Report all detected problems and the measures taken to the shifter.

5.4. Organize your clothing and put it away in the designated storage area.

5.5. After completion of work, it is not allowed to be on the territory of the plant or at the workplace without the knowledge of the management.

The Canadian company Harbor Air conducted the first flight of an electrified passenger seaplane DHC-2 Beaver.

On December 10, Canadian airline Harbor Air conducted a successful flight of an electric version of the DHC-2 Beaver seaplane on the Fraser River, near Vancouver.

The length of the DHC-2 Beaver is 9,2 meters and has a wingspan of 14,6 m. It can reach speeds of up to 255 kilometers per hour, and the range of the car is up to 732 kilometers. The device was converted into an electric aircraft by the Australian company MagniX, commissioned by Harbor Air: the car received a 200 kilowatt-hour battery and a Magni500 electric motor with a maximum power of 559 kilowatts, weighing 135 kilograms. A full charge of the battery electric DHC-2 Beaver, according to the developers, should be enough for 30 minutes of flight.
