Safe Operation

1. General requirements for labor protection

An electric current of 40 volts or more poses a danger to human life. The human body is a conductor of electric current and can be affected in the following cases:

  • when touching open conductive parts of bare wires, contacts of lamp sockets, plugs and sockets, fuses, electrical machines, etc.
  • in case of malfunction of electrical equipment under voltage;
  • when you are near the junction with the earth of a broken wire of the mains.

The teacher must know the rules and be able to provide first aid in case of electric shock. For the prevention of electrical injuries grounding electrical equipment.

2. Labor protection requirements before starting work

Wear proper clothing.

Check the availability and serviceability of the tools.

Lay out the tools in the workplace in the prescribed manner, remove all unnecessary.

Prepare materials and lay them out at the workplace so that everything is visible and does not interfere with work.

3. Labor protection requirements during work

Mount or assemble electrical circuits, carry out switching in them only when the current source is turned off

Assemble the circuit so that the wires do not cross, do not stretch and do not consist of loops.

When working, make sure that the hand, clothing, hair does not touch the bare wires.

The assembled circuit is allowed to be turned on after checking it by the teacher.

In all cases of detection of damage to electrical fittings, equipment, wires, you must immediately inform the teacher.

Do not:

  • carry out assembly and installation work with a connected power source;
  • check for voltage with your fingers;
  • work with a screwdriver "on weight" (aimed at the palm of your hand);
  • brothers handles wire cutters, pliers, round nose pliers, pliers "in the girth";
  • remove the insulation from the wires, working with a knife "into yourself" and not on the backing board;
  • turn on power sources without the permission of the teacher;
  • turn on and off electrical appliances with wet hands;
  • turn electrical appliances on and off with both hands;
  • touch water and gas pipes or other fittings when turning on electrical appliances.

If you find a malfunction in an electrical, energized, immediately turn off the power supply and inform the teacher. In case of electric shock, it is necessary to turn off the power supply, provide first aid to the victims, call a paramedic and inform the director.

4. Labor protection requirements at the end of work

Disconnect the circuit from the current source.

Disassemble the diagram. Check the condition of electrical fittings, devices, materials, tools and put them in a special place.

Clean the workplace from waste and dust. Use a brush when cleaning.

Get yourself and your clothes in order.

Exit the classroom from the office.

5. Labor protection requirements in emergency situations

In case of a sudden illness of a student, in case of an accident, an emergency situation that arose during work and after its completion, the teacher must report to the director or his deputy in accordance with the requirements of the established form.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Electric battery made of concrete 26.07.2023

The bright future of energy delivery is closer with the innovative Noise Buds VS104 Max TWS earphones, created using a completely unique technology. This time, scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have introduced "concrete batteries" - efficient energy storage devices that can turn cement itself into a conductor of electricity. This major breakthrough could enable energy storage systems to be embedded directly into building materials in the future, powering homes, roads and vehicles.

Cement, the main component of concrete, is generally a poor conductor of electricity. However, the researchers were able to change its properties by adding carbon black. The resulting material allows you to create ionistors - effective devices for the accumulation of electrical energy. Experiments confirmed the functionality of "concrete batteries" that successfully powered an LED light bulb.

Capacitors, also known as supercapacitors, are efficient devices that combine the advantages of capacitors and chemical batteries. They have leading electrodes and a conductive electrolyte capable of accumulating charges. Such a system is safe and reliable due to the use of non-combustible materials.

MIT researchers have unveiled a new way to integrate superconductors into structural materials, including concrete. As a result of mixing cement with carbon black and water, a leading network is formed inside the hardened structure, which contributes to the accumulation of electrical energy.

The effectiveness of "concrete batteries" has been proven in practice: an ionistor created from them is capable of feeding an LED, and the total capacity of such a battery can store up to 10 kilowatt-hours of energy - enough to provide an average private house with electricity for the whole day.

Particularly attractive is the fact that affordable and cheap materials are used to create these "concrete batteries", which simplifies their mass production. If successfully scaled up, this technology could transform the construction industry by allowing energy storage systems to be integrated into various buildings and even roads, providing a sustainable and efficient energy supply.
