Safe Operation

1. General safety requirements

1.1. The sellers who have been instructed on safety when using refrigeration equipment are allowed to operate refrigeration equipment.

1.2. Thermometers must be installed in the refrigerator compartment.

2. Safety requirements before starting work

2.1. Check the condition of the refrigeration equipment by visual inspection.

2.2. Work in overalls. Hair must be tied back under a special cap.

3. Safety requirements during work

3.1. Before loading into the chilled volume, the products must first be allowed to cool to ambient temperature in the store.

3.2. Do not load cabinets, counters, chambers with products in excess of the allowable load according to the passport.

3.3. Make sure that the layer of the snow coat on the cooling devices (evaporators) does not exceed 5-6 mm. Timely defrost.

3.4. Do not leave doors of refrigerated objects open.

3.5. Keep refrigeration equipment clean.

3.6. Keep a log of the operation of refrigeration units with the store manager and present it at the request of the mechanic. The journal notes the mode of operation of refrigeration units and violations of the rules of technical safety and operation of refrigeration equipment.

3.7. The temperature in the refrigeration equipment is maintained according to the passport data within the following limits:

  • in refrigerated cabinets and counters from 0 to +5°C.
  • in counter display cases from +4 to +10°C
  • in low-temperature chambers and counters from -12 to -15°C.
  • in collection chambers from 0 to +2°C
  • in stationary chambers: fish from -3 to -1°C, meat from -1 to +1°C.
  • in dairy and gastronomic from +2 to +14°C
  • in fruit from +4 to +6°C.

3.8. The engine room must be locked with a control lock, the key must be kept by the store manager.

Do not:

  • operate refrigeration units if the protective grounding is broken;
  • operate refrigeration units after the expiration of the next annual test and check the state of protective grounding;
  • use refrigeration units if the current-carrying parts of magnetic starters, knife switches, electric motors, automation devices are not covered with protective covers;
  • forcibly turn on the refrigeration unit in case of faulty safety automation devices;
  • install unmarked (bugs) fuses;
  • allow unauthorized persons to inspect, dismantle and repair equipment, as well as perform work on their own;
  • block the water supplied for cooling, cover the shelves of cabinets and products with paper, gauze;
  • use scrapers, knives to remove frost from cooling devices;
  • store food on cooling devices, cover cabinet shelves and food with paper, gauze;
  • do not clutter up the refrigeration equipment with foreign objects;
  • remove the guards from the units;
  • touch the moving parts of the machine during operation.

4. Safety requirements in emergency situations

4.1. In case of malfunction of the refrigeration units, immediately unload the products, notify the store manager or refrigeration mechanic.

4.2. In case of injury, call an ambulance, notify the store manager.

5. Safety requirements at the end of work (shift)

5.1. Remove protective clothing, wash hands with soap or take a shower. Report all comments to the store manager.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Hubble's Cosmological Stress Paradox Explained 26.01.2022

Scientists at the National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences have proposed an explanation for the so-called Hubble voltage, that is, the paradox that the rate of expansion of the universe, measured locally, is greater than that indicated by observations of the microwave background.

According to the hypothesis that forms the basis of standard cosmology, the universe is isotropic and uniform over large distances. However, observations reveal significant deviations from isotropy: for example, the distribution of matter in one direction is greater than in the other. In addition, the Hubble constant, indicating the expansion rate of the universe, also demonstrates the difference between local and global scales.

The researchers believe that the observed deviations from isotropy can be explained by the existence of giant cosmic disturbances whose wavelength exceeds the size of the cosmological horizon - the maximum distance that light could travel since the beginning of the universe.

These perturbations are called superhorizon modes, which are oriented in one direction and do not obey standard cosmology.
