An electrical installation is understood as a set of machines, devices, lines and auxiliary equipment (together with the structures and premises in which they are installed) intended for the production, conversion, transformation, transmission, distribution of electrical energy and its conversion into another type of energy. Electrical installations are used in various industries, but mainly in the energy sector. To date, there are POT RM-016-2001 RD 153-34.0-03.150-00 (approved by the Decree of the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation of January 5, 2001 No. 3 and the order of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation of December 27, 2000 No. 163). These Rules apply to employees of organizations, regardless of their form of ownership and organizational and legal forms, and other individuals engaged in the maintenance of electrical installations, carrying out operational switching in them, organizing and performing construction, installation, commissioning, repair work, testing and measurements.

Depending on local conditions, the employer may provide for additional labor safety measures that do not contradict these rules. Nevertheless, such measures should be included in the relevant labor protection instructions, communicated to the staff in the form of orders, instructions, instructions.

Employees should always remember that electrical installations must be in a technically sound condition that ensures safe working conditions. It is also necessary to ensure that electrical installations are equipped with tested, ready-to-use protective equipment, as well as first aid equipment in accordance with the rules and regulations in force.

In each organization that has electrical installations in service, control over compliance with established safety regulations, the requirements of labor protection instructions, as well as control over the briefing of workers should be carried out.

The employer is responsible for the state of labor protection in the organization. The employer has the right to transfer his rights and functions on this issue to the leading employee of the organization by an administrative document. The employer is obliged to comply with the established safety regulations for the operation of electrical installations and not to allow the execution of orders and tasks that are contrary to the current Rules.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

Japan to build a network of orbital energy platforms 18.05.2014

According to the Japanese space agency, platforms are planned to be launched into geostationary orbit to collect solar energy and transfer it to Earth.

The tragic events at the Fukushima nuclear power plant prompted Japanese scientists to such an unusual idea. They believe that extracting energy in space is much safer. At the same time, it is not reported how much the implementation of the grandiose plan will cost.

It is assumed that the platforms will be located at an altitude of 36 thousand km from the Earth's surface. In addition to space platforms, it will be necessary to create a special receiving station on Earth, which will be able to receive solar energy from space.

The network of constructed orbital stations will have a total capacity of 1 GW, which, if successful, will make it possible to abandon the use of nuclear power plants. The energy will be transmitted to the Earth by means of electromagnetic radiation of ultrahigh frequency.

At the moment, scientists are engaged in compiling related maps and graphs. It is assumed that the project will be able to start in 2030. The launch of the project will be preceded by a 10 kW space farm launched 100 years earlier. It will be required to develop new technologies.
