The legislator paid special attention to the issues of labor protection of workers in the agro-industrial complex, since the agro-industrial complex includes many industries, for example: poultry farming and poultry processing, crop production, animal husbandry, oil and fat industry, dairy industry, etc.

Issues of labor protection in the agro-industrial complex are regulated by by-laws of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, which approves the rules for labor protection in each of the sectors of the economy included in the agro-industrial complex.

Currently, in the agro-industrial complex, the Rules on labor protection have been approved and are in force in almost every branch of the agro-industrial complex: in the production of reclamation work; in the tobacco industry; starch industry; in animal husbandry; in crop production; in the meat industry; in the operation of wastewater treatment facilities of organizations. processing agricultural raw materials; in the production of alcohol, vodka, cognac, wines, beer and juices; in the oil and fat industry; when performing agricultural work in conditions of radioactive contamination of territories; in the production of baker's yeast; in the baking and pasta industry; in the dairy industry; when storing fruits and vegetables; when using pesticides and agrochemicals.

All of the above rules contain general requirements in the field of labor protection, requirements for the safe organization of work for production (technological) processes, as well as requirements for production equipment, its placement and organization of workplaces.
