I. General Provisions

A chemist-technologist belongs to the category of specialists, is hired and dismissed from work by order of the director of the enterprise on presentation (head of the relevant structural unit, other official).
A person who has a higher professional (chemical) education and work experience in the specialty acquired during the period of study is appointed to the position of chemical technologist.

methodological materials related to relevant issues;

The chemist-technologist must know:

During the absence of the chemical technologist, his duties are performed in the prescribed manner by the appointed deputy, who is fully responsible for the proper performance of the duties assigned to him.

II. Official duties

The chemist-technologist is obliged:

Establish the procedure for performing work and the operational route for processing products.
Make plans for the placement of equipment, technical equipment and organization of jobs.
Calculate production capacity and equipment loading.
Develop technological standards, instructions, route maps, maps of the technical level and product quality, and other technological documentation.
Make changes to the technical documentation in connection with the adjustment of technological processes and production modes.
Coordinate the developed documentation with the departments of the enterprise.
Participate in the implementation of experimental work on the development of new technological processes and their introduction into production, in the development of programs for improving the organization of labor, the introduction of new equipment, organizational and technical measures for the timely development of production capacities, the improvement of technology and control their implementation.
To exercise control over the observance of technological discipline in production and the correct operation of technological equipment.
Analyze the causes of marriage, take part in the development of measures to prevent and eliminate them.
Participate in the consideration of incoming complaints about the products manufactured by the enterprise.
Participate in the development of methods for technical control and product testing.
Consider rationalization proposals for improving production technology and give conclusions on the feasibility of their use.
To study the advanced domestic and foreign experience in the field of production technology.

III. Rights

The chemist-technologist has the right:

Monitor compliance with technological discipline and report to the immediate supervisor on all violations.
Demand to stop the production of products if they are produced with deviations from the technical specifications, as a result of non-compliance with the technological process.
Make proposals for improving the work related to the duties provided for in this Job Description.

IV. A responsibility

The chemist is responsible for:

For non-fulfillment (improper fulfillment) of their official duties provided for by this Job Description, to the extent determined by the current labor legislation.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation.
