I. General Provisions

This Job Description defines the functional duties, rights and responsibilities of a standardization and quality engineer.
Standardization and quality engineer belongs to the category "Professionals".
The standardization and quality engineer carries out work on the functioning and improvement of the quality management system within his competence.
Appointment to the position of an engineer for standardization and quality and dismissal from it is carried out by order of the General Director on the proposal of a representative of the quality management in compliance with the requirements of the Labor Code of Ukraine.
In his work, the standardization and quality engineer reports on the functioning of the quality and safety management system directly to the representative of the quality management.
For the period of temporary absence of an engineer for standardization and quality of performance of his official duties, it is assigned to an official determined by order of the general director.
In his work, the standardization and quality engineer is guided by:

current legislation of Ukraine;
orders and instructions of the General Director;
current regulatory documentation in the field of production of the enterprise;
government standards and ISO 9000 series standards;
quality management system documentation;
this Job Description.

Qualification requirements:

higher professional (technical) education;
no work experience requirements.

The standardization and quality engineer should know:

state standards in the field of quality and food safety and ISO 9000 series standards;
normative documentation in the field of production of the organization's products;
the procedure for submitting and considering claims for non-conforming products;
Law of Ukraine "On safety and quality of food products" and other regulations;
fundamentals of labor legislation;
current regulatory legal acts on labor protection, fire safety and industrial sanitation measures;
rules of internal labor regulations;
norms of business conduct and ethics of professional relations;
instructions for providing first aid to victims of accidents;
your job description.

II. Official duties

The Standardization and Quality Engineer performs the following job responsibilities:

Coordinates the work and participates in the development, implementation and improvement of the processes of the quality management system.
Coordinates work on the functioning of the quality management system.
Participates in the training and consultation of employees on the development, operation and improvement of the quality and safety management system.
Takes part in the consideration and analysis of product quality complaints, preparation of conclusions and correspondence on the results of the consideration.
It studies the reasons causing the manufacture of nonconforming products, participates in the development and implementation of measures to eliminate them.
He studies the best domestic and world experience in developing and improving the quality and safety management system.
Takes part in coordinating the activities of the internal audit team, developing internal audit schedules and conducting audits in accordance with these schedules.
Maintains contacts with external auditors when organizing and conducting external audits.
Carries out contacts with consulting organizations in the field of quality and safety management system.
Participates in the implementation of all processes of the quality and safety management system.
Provides maximum objectivity and reliability of the results of the work.
In all cases, it complies with ethical standards.
Adheres to labor and production discipline, internal labor regulations.
Maintains the documentation of the quality and safety management system and participates in the functioning of the "Documentation Management", "Protocol Management", "Corrective Actions", "Preventive Actions", "Nonconforming Products Management", "Internal Audits" processes.

Functional responsibilities for labor protection:

Take care of personal safety and health, as well as the safety and health of other people in the process of performing any work or while staying on the territory of the enterprise.
Study, know and comply with the requirements of regulatory acts on labor protection, fire safety and environmental protection measures, the rules for the safe handling of office equipment, use collective and individual protection equipment.
Follow the rules, methods and techniques of safe work at your workplace.
Observe the optimal mode of work and rest when working on a personal computer.
Observe the requirements of the current safety regulations for pedestrians when driving in warehouses and on the territory of the enterprise.
Maintain cleanliness at your workplace, indoors and during your stay on the territory of the enterprise.
Use, if necessary, means of preventing and eliminating unforeseen production negative phenomena (fire).
Know and be able to provide first aid to victims of accidents at work.
Immediately report to the head and deputy general director for labor protection about cases of industrial injuries, as well as if you witnessed an industrial injury to another employee of the enterprise.
Know and comply with the requirements of the rules of industrial sanitation, observe the rules of personal hygiene.
Use sanitary facilities and closets for storing clothes as intended.

III. Rights

The standardization and quality engineer has the right to:

Require the employees of the enterprise to perform all the actions that are required of them by the documentation of the quality and safety management system.
Make proposals for improving the quality and safety management system.
In case of problems in the functioning of the quality and safety management system, seek assistance directly from the management of the enterprise.
Send requests to any officials of the enterprise for information necessary for the effective functioning and improvement of the quality and safety management system, and receive timely and comprehensive answers from them.
Participate in the discussion and in resolving issues related to the fulfillment of the duties assigned to him.
Participate in meetings, conferences, seminars and other events related to quality and safety management systems.

IV. A responsibility

The standardization and quality engineer is responsible

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - to the extent determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation on labor of Ukraine.
For violation of internal labor regulations.
For violation of labor protection rules.
