I. General Provisions

The architect belongs to the category of specialists.
For the position:

an architect is appointed a person who has a higher professional education without presenting requirements for work experience or secondary vocational education and work experience in the specialty for at least 2 years;
category III architect - a person with higher professional education and work experience in design organizations;
Category II architect - a person with a higher professional education and at least 2 years of work experience in architectural positions filled by specialists with a higher professional education;
Category I architect - a person with a higher professional education and work experience as an architect of category II for at least 2 years.

Appointment to the position of an architect and dismissal from it is carried out by order of the director of the organization.
The architect reports directly to _______.
The architect must know:

methods of designing and conducting technical and economic calculations;
technical, artistic, economic, environmental, social and other requirements for the designed facilities;
the specifics of regional and local natural, economic, environmental, social and other conditions for the implementation of urban planning and architectural solutions;
types and properties of building materials and structures;
environmental protection requirements;
advanced domestic and foreign experience in design and construction;
resolutions, orders, orders of higher and other bodies, methodological, regulatory and guidance materials for the design, construction and operation of facilities;
standards, specifications and other requirements for the development and execution of design and estimate documentation;
construction technology;
technical means of design and construction;
fundamentals of economics, labor organization, production and management;
labor legislation;
rules and regulations of labor protection.

During the absence of the architect (illness, vacation, business trip, etc.), his duties are performed by a person appointed by order of the general director of the enterprise. This person acquires the appropriate rights and is responsible for the high-quality and timely performance of the duties assigned to him.

II. Official duties

Architect:

Based on the latest achievements of domestic and foreign urban planning, architectural science, practice using design automation tools, develops urban planning solutions and the architectural and construction part of projects.
Participates in the preparation of technical specifications for the development of urban planning and architectural solutions.
Links the decisions made with the design developments of other sections (parts) of the project.
Ensures compliance of the developed urban planning and architectural solutions with current regulations, environmental protection requirements and environmental standards.
Carries out architectural supervision of the construction of the designed objects.
Participates in the analysis and generalization of experience in the development and implementation of architectural and urban planning solutions in construction.
Prepares reviews for rationalization proposals and inventions, drafts of regulatory materials for design and construction related to architectural solutions.
Participates in seminars and conferences.

III. Rights

The architect has the right:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the organization relating to its activities.
Submit proposals for improvement of the work related to the responsibilities provided for in this instruction for consideration by the management.
Within the limits of his competence, report to his immediate supervisor about all the shortcomings identified in the course of his activities and make proposals for their elimination.
Request personally or on behalf of the management of the organization from the departments of the organization and other specialists information and documents necessary for the performance of their duties.
Involve specialists from all (individual) structural divisions in solving the tasks assigned to him (if this is provided for by the regulations on structural divisions, if not, then with the permission of the head of the organization).
Require the management of the organization to assist in the performance of their duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

The architect is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
