I. General Provisions

The head of the transport service belongs to the category of managers.
A person with a higher professional (technical) education and work experience in the profile of at least 3 years or a secondary vocational (technical) education and work experience in organizing transport services for the enterprise for at least 5 years is appointed to the position of head of the transport service.
Appointment to the post of head of the transport service and dismissal from it is carried out by order of the director of the enterprise on the proposal of _______ (deputy director of the enterprise for commercial issues; head of the sales department; enterprise for commercial issues; head of the sales department; head of the logistics department; other official).
The head of the transport service must know:

resolutions, orders, orders, other governing and regulatory documents of higher and other bodies relating to the activities of the transport service;
Charter of road transport;
device, purpose, design features, technical and operational data of the rolling stock;
rules for the technical operation of the rolling stock of motor vehicles;
technology and organization of maintenance and repair of vehicles;
rules for the carriage of goods;
technical conditions for loading and securing cargo;
rules for registration (including customs) of goods;
norms of downtime of vehicles and containers under cargo operations;
safety regulations and industrial sanitation during loading and unloading operations;
standards for the conditions of transportation and packaging of goods;
fundamentals of the economy, progressive organization of production and labor;
the procedure for keeping records and reporting on rolling stock and operational materials;
rules for the operation of computer technology;
Traffic Laws;
basics of labor organization;
labor legislation;
rules of internal labor regulations;
rules and norms of labor protection, safety measures, industrial sanitation and fire protection.

The head of the transport service reports directly to _______ (deputy director of the enterprise for commercial issues; head of the sales department).
During the absence of the head of the transport service (business trip, vacation, illness, etc.), his duties are performed by a deputy (in the absence of such, a person appointed in the prescribed manner), who is responsible for their proper performance.

II. Official duties

Head of transport service:

Develops annual, quarterly, monthly and operational schedules of transportation based on plans for the receipt of materials, raw materials and shipment of finished products, production plans.
Organizes and implements centralized interorganizational and intraorganizational transportation.
Determines the need and makes calculations for the vehicles necessary for the organization, handling equipment, repair equipment, spare parts.
Manages the transfer of material resources to the warehouses of the organization and the transfer of finished products to the warehouses of buyers.
Provides control over the rational use of vehicles in accordance with the established norms of their carrying capacity and capacity.
Organizes reference and information work in the service on incoming and outgoing goods, delivery times, conditions of transportation and other issues of transportation, loading and unloading and commercial operations.
Organizes, corrects and controls the implementation of operational plans for loading, unloading and centralized delivery and export of goods for a day and a shift.
Develops, implements and monitors the implementation of measures to ensure the reduction of transport downtime for cargo operations, the increase in throughput and the rational use of warehouses, sites and access routes for vehicles, the rational use of loading and unloading machines, mechanisms and vehicles.
Manages the development and controls the implementation of measures to eliminate and prevent the non-safety of goods during transportation, loading, unloading, sorting and storage.
Ensures the proper maintenance of loading and unloading sites, car entrances, weighing devices and other means of control.
Controls the observance by the employees of the service of production and labor discipline, their implementation of job descriptions, rules and regulations on labor protection, safety, industrial sanitation and fire safety.
Manages service workers.

III. Rights

The head of the transport service has the right:

To get acquainted with the draft decisions of the enterprise management regarding the transport support of the organization.
Submit proposals to improve the transport support of the enterprise for consideration by the management of the enterprise.
Interact with the heads of all (individual) structural divisions of the enterprise.
Sign and endorse documents within their competence.
Make proposals on encouraging distinguished employees, imposing penalties on violators of production and labor discipline.
Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

The head of the transport service is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.

AKiTiO introduced the Thunder2 Quad Mini external storage, designed to work with computers running Windows and OS X operating systems.
