I. General Provisions

The head of the vehicle maintenance point belongs to the category of managers.
A person with a higher professional (technical) education and work experience in managerial positions of at least __ years or a secondary vocational (technical) education and work experience in the profile of a specialist and in managerial positions of at least __ years is appointed to the position of head of the vehicle maintenance point.
Appointment to the position of head of the vehicle maintenance point and dismissal from it is carried out by order of the head of the enterprise upon presentation.
The head of the vehicle maintenance point must know:

resolutions, orders, orders, other governing and regulatory documents regulating the work of the head of the vehicle maintenance point;
- technological process for the repair of vehicles;
- standards of personal participation in the implementation of preventive measures to prevent accidents;
- methodology for investigating and recording accidents related to production;
- fundamentals of economics, labor organization, production and management;
- Fundamentals of labor legislation of Ukraine;
- internal labor regulations;
- rules and norms of labor protection, safety measures, industrial sanitation and fire safety;

The head of the vehicle maintenance point reports directly to _______.
During the absence of the head of the vehicle maintenance point (illness, vacation, business trip, etc.), his duties are performed by a deputy (in the absence of such, a person appointed in the prescribed manner), who acquires the appropriate rights and is responsible for the proper performance of his duties.

II. Official duties

Head of the vehicle maintenance point:

Supervises the work on the implementation of inspection and repair at the point of maintenance of vehicles by repair and inspection teams (groups).
Controls the quality of the repair of vehicles, their components and parts in accordance with the established technology and on time.
Participates in the development of measures and proposals to improve the quality of repair of vehicles, their components and parts, as well as the improvement of technological processes.
Controls the availability and use of spare parts, parts and ensures their timely replenishment.
Ensures the normal functioning of the air duct system, illumination of workplaces, lifting mechanisms and other equipment and mechanisms.
Creates normal working conditions for workers.
It studies, distributes and implements advanced methods and techniques of labor, rationalization and inventive proposals aimed at improving the repair of vehicles.
Conducts safety briefings, participates in the investigation of the causes of industrial injuries.
Organizes training, periodic testing of knowledge of job descriptions, safety regulations and work technology.
Monitors compliance by employees with the rules and regulations of labor protection and safety, production and labor discipline, internal labor regulations.
Coordinates the work of employees of the vehicle maintenance point, selects workers, their placement and appropriate use.
Submits proposals for the assignment, in accordance with the Unified Tariff and Qualification Reference Book of Works and Professions, of Workers' Qualifications to Workers.
Organizes planning, accounting and reporting on the production activities of the point.

III. Rights

The head of the maintenance point has the right to:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise regarding the activities of the maintenance point.
Interact with the heads of all (individual) structural divisions of the enterprise.
Sign and endorse documents within their competence.
Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

The head of the vehicle maintenance point is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.

Transpacific submarine cable Faster 01.07.2016

The laying and testing of the FASTER Cable System trans-Pacific submarine cable connecting the USA and Japan has been completed. The 60 Tbps data rate system is ready to go. The 9000 km cable was laid from Oregon (USA) to Chiba and Mie prefectures. The system has extended connectivity to major US West Coast hubs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle. In Japan, FASTER Cable System will provide connectivity to major cities in the country, as well as expand connectivity to other hubs in Asian countries.

The start of construction of the system was announced in August 2014 by the FASTER international consortium, which included China Mobile International, China Telecom Global, Global Transit, KDDI, Google and SingTel. The six-pair fiber optic cable was laid by NEC. The project cost was $300 million.

The FASTER Cable System is the only one of its kind capable of delivering data rates up to 60 Tbps using six pairs of low loss fiber optic strands.

This is not Google's first investment in a submarine cable project. The company financed the laying of two submarine fiber optic systems that connect the US with South America, Japan and other regions of Asia.
