I. General Provisions

Analyst in commodity market research belongs to the category "Professionals".
Appointment to the position of a specialist-analyst in commodity market research and dismissal from it is made by the director of the enterprise on the proposal of _______ in compliance with the requirements of the Labor Code of Ukraine.
The Commodity Market Research Analyst reports to _______.
A commodity market research analyst should know:

the current legislation of Ukraine regulating entrepreneurial activity;
regulatory legal acts and documents on state regulation of the functioning of trade enterprises and the sale of food and non-food products;
rules for the use of bar codes and modern computer technologies in commodity market research, the procedure for conducting wholesale and industrial fairs;
commodity market conditions and factors influencing its formation;
sources of information about the trade situation, patterns and trends in the formation of the needs of the population, methods for forecasting demand for certain groups of goods;
principles and methods of quantitative measurement of indicators for assessing the satisfaction of consumer needs;
fashion development trends, current standards and specifications for consumer goods;
assortment of goods, methods for determining their quality, the basics of modern marketing;
methods of economic and statistical analysis;
methods of forecasting economic and social processes;
fundamentals of international statistics, state statistical reporting;
system of indicators of domestic and foreign trade turnover;
the basic principles of pricing applied in international trade;
national and international classification systems for goods and services;
categories and types of standards, other regulatory and technical documentation for the certification of goods and services in trade, methodology and methods for determining the effectiveness of marketing activities;
commodity science;
rules and norms of labor protection, fire protection, industrial sanitation and personal hygiene.

Qualification requirements:

leading specialist-analyst in commodity market research: higher (technical) degree in one of the areas of study "Economics and Entrepreneurship", "Trade", "Management"; for a master's degree or a specialist - at least 2 years of work experience in the profession of a specialist-analyst of the XNUMXst category, qualification certification in production with the assignment of the category "leading specialist-analyst";
specialist-analyst in commodity market research and category: higher (technical) in one of the areas of study "Economics and Entrepreneurship", "Trade", "Management"; for a master - at least 1 year of work experience in the profession of a specialist-analyst of category II, for a specialist - at least 2 years, qualification certification in production with assignment of category I;
specialist-analyst in commodity market research of the II category: higher (technical) degree in one of the areas of study "Economics and Entrepreneurship", "Trade", "Management"; for a master - without requirements for work experience, for a specialist - at least 1 year of work experience in the profession of a specialist analyst, qualification certification in production with the assignment of category II;
commodity market research analyst: higher (specialist) in one of the areas of study "Economics and Entrepreneurship", "Trade", "Management"; no requirement for work experience.

II. Official duties

Market Research Analyst:

Conducts a comprehensive study of the domestic and foreign markets of goods.
It studies and analyzes the position of an enterprise or product on the market.
Comprehensively analyzes the needs of consumers and their behavior in certain market segments, assesses the impact of social and demographic factors on the state of the market.
Assesses the competitiveness of goods and services and develops proposals for improving their level and optimizing the product range.
Makes suggestions and adjustments to the assortment list of goods and services, taking into account the characteristics of various market segments.
Determines consumer, technical, operational, environmental, aesthetic and other quality parameters of goods and their compliance with regulatory and technical documentation, contracts, current legislation and other requirements.
Selects methods for modeling the development of market situations on specific issues.
Analyzes and substantiates the pricing policy of the enterprise, develops recommendations on advertising policy, organization of trade agencies, promotion of the sale of goods.
Gives an assessment based on the results of holding or participating in fairs.
Prepares periodic analytical reviews of product markets and the company's position on them.
Develops short-term and long-term forecasts for the company's commodity policy.
Organizes and plans activities to obtain information on the state and prospects for the development of supply and demand.

III. Rights

A commodity market research analyst has the right to:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise regarding its activities.
Get acquainted with the documents that define his rights and duties by position, criteria for assessing the quality of performance of official duties.
Make suggestions for improving the work related to the provisions of this instruction.
Within the limits of its competence, inform the immediate supervisor of all those identified in the course of his activities, and make proposals for their elimination.
Involve specialists from all structural divisions in solving the tasks assigned to him.
Request personally or on behalf of the immediate supervisor from the heads of structural divisions and specialists information and documents necessary for the performance of his duties.
Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties.

IV. A responsibility

The Commodity Market Research Analyst is responsible for:

improper performance or non-performance of their official duties, as well as for non-use or directly to their rights provided for by this Job Description - to the extent determined by the current legislation of Ukraine;
offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine;
causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation on labor of Ukraine.

Artificial intelligence has learned to clone higher organisms 07.07.2017

The use of robots with artificial intelligence allowed Chinese scientists to carry out successful operations to collect and transfer the DNA of highly organized living organisms without damaging and destroying cloned cells.

For the first time in human history, Chinese scientists from the Institute of Robotics and Automated Information Systems at Nankai University in Tianjin have successfully cloned pigs using robots.

At the beginning of January 2017, 510 cloned embryos were placed in six surrogate sows. As a result of the experiment, two sows at the end of April, on the 110th day of pregnancy, gave birth to 13 healthy artificially bred piglets.

When conducting an experiment on cloning pigs, scientists for the first time used special robotic micromanipulators-analyzers, which performed all operations for collecting and transferring DNA from donor animals to surrogate carriers. Universal micromanipulators controlled by artificial intelligence for operations with DNA combine the functions of sampling, testing and operating.

The robotic instrument made a significant contribution to the successful completion of the experiment and coped with the task. According to the head of the research team Zhao Xin, the work of human hands and a robotic arm in such delicate processes is comparable "like a hard slap and soft pressing."
