I. General Provisions

  1. The wholesale sales manager (hereinafter referred to as the sales manager) belongs to the category of specialists hired and fired by the General Director on the memo of the Head of the Trade Department.
  2. The main task of the sales manager is the promotion (sale) of products declared in the current price lists (price lists) of the company.
  3. The Sales Manager reports directly to the Head of the Sales Department.
  4. The sales manager reports directly to sales representatives.
  5. In his work, the sales manager is guided by:
  • current legislation of Ukraine;
  • the company's charter;
  • orders, internal regulatory documents and oral orders of the Company's Management;
  • rules of financial discipline;
  • methodological materials in the specialty;
  1. A person with a higher or secondary specialized education is appointed to the position of a sales manager. For persons with a secondary special education, at least one year of work experience in this specialty is required.
  2. The sales manager must be proficient in:
  • prospects for the development of the company, its financial and economic activities;
  • organization of sales throughout the company;
  • own production of products;
  • work culture and work ethics.
  1. During the absence of the sales manager (being on a business trip, on vacation, due to illness or for other reasons), the duties established by the Job Description are assigned to another sales manager appointed by the head of the Trade Department.

II. Official duties

  1. Organization of promotion of products in their area.
  2. Management of sales representatives.
  3. Prompt customer service.
  4. Managing customer receivables.
  5. Managing delivery schedules for customers.
  6. Participation in the preparation of purchase orders.
  7. Preparation of reports for the period on the work done, including sales.

III. Official duties

Sales Manager:

  1. Looking for clients.
  2. He gets acquainted daily with the assortment, quantity, terms of sale and current prices for goods available for sale.
  3. Controls the timely repayment of accounts receivable of clients, notifies the immediate Manager in writing about each case of overdue payment, stating the reasons for the delay.
  4. Fills out orders for delivery / pickup to customers of his site, submits them to the operators of the Trade Department in a timely manner.
  5. Draws up contracts, collects documents for them.
  6. Develops a collection schedule, timely submits applications for collection of clients of his site to the senior operator of the Trade Department; conducts cash collection independently, deposits money at the cash desk within the time limits set by the Company.
  7. Supervises sales representatives, controls the proper execution by them of the agency and employment contracts, as well as orders of the Company's Management.
  8. Accepts clients.
  9. Conducts negotiations in the client's office.
  10. Performs one-time assignments of the Company's Management.

IV. Rights

The sales manager has the right to:

  1. Express and submit for discussion constructive proposals for optimizing customer service;
  2. Require the implementation of the established rules for working with strict reporting documents (order forms, waybills, invoices, powers of attorney and others), as well as with other documents;
  3. To use for official purposes the functional duties of the employees of the company;
  4. Sign and endorse documents within their competence;
  5. Participate in the development of agency contracts;
  6. Require the management of the company to create the necessary conditions for the performance of official duties and the safety of the company's commercial information.

V. Responsibility

The sales manager is responsible for:

  1. Failure to fulfill the sales plan;
  2. Negligent management of customer receivables;
  3. Inaccurate acceptance of applications that led to a refund;
  4. Misuse of the system of cumulative discounts;
  5. Failure to comply with the instructions and instructions of the Company's Management, the work plan;
  6. Failure to comply with the working conditions of employees under his supervision;
  7. Unclear and untimely performance of official duties provided for by this instruction;
  8. Failure to comply with price discipline;
  9. Failure to comply with labor and production discipline.

VI. Service Relations

The sales manager in the course of his work interacts with:

  1. Head of the Trade Department - on pricing, endorsement of deferred payment agreements, conducting sales trainings, providing the necessary materials, on creating the necessary conditions for the performance of official duties and the safety of the company's commercial information, receiving reports from forwarders and collectors, as well as on the execution of one-time orders .
  2. Freight forwarders and collectors - on the clarification of tasks and their implementation.
  3. Employees of the accounting department - on the issues of maintaining receivables.
  4. Operators - on the provision of customer cards, delivery requests.

Shipping company for transporting captured CO2 28.05.2021

Danish shipping companies Evergas and Ultragas have formed the Dan-Unity CO2 joint venture, the world's first shipping company specialized in transporting captured carbon dioxide for storage and reuse.

Dan-Unity CO2 will work in partnership with Icelandic CO2 storage startup Carbfix.

It is planned that the new company will be ready to offer services for the transportation and storage of carbon dioxide by 2025.

The CO2 will dissolve in water and be injected as such into volcanic rocks in Iceland, where it will naturally solidify within two years. Carbfix estimates that Iceland has the capacity to host 2,5 gigatons of CO2, the equivalent of 2 years of CO55 emissions worldwide.
