I. General Provisions

A person with secondary (complete) general education and special training according to the established program is appointed to the position of inspector of the pass office.
Appointment to the position of inspector of the pass office and dismissal from it are made by order of the General Director of the enterprise upon the recommendation of the head of the security service.
The inspector of the pass office must know:

the structure of the enterprise and the mode of operation of its divisions;
resolutions, orders, orders, other governing and regulatory documents of higher authorities relating to the organization of access control;
rules and procedure for issuing passes;
the procedure for recording and storing forms and returned passes;
management staff of the enterprise and sample signatures of persons entitled to authorize the issuance of passes;
basics of labor organization;
fundamentals of labor legislation;
rules of internal labor regulations;
rules and norms of labor protection, industrial sanitation and fire protection.

The head of the pass office reports directly to the head of the enterprise or his deputy for economic matters.
During the absence of the inspector of the pass office (business trip, vacation, illness, etc.), his duties are performed by a deputy. If there is none, his duties are performed by a person appointed by order of the director of the enterprise.

II. Official duties

Pass office inspector:

Organizes the work of the bureau in accordance with the established procedure and current guidelines for organizing the access control of the enterprise.
Ensures compliance with the access regime and monitors the correct registration, issuance and return of passes giving the right of passage (exit) to the enterprise or entry (exit) to its territory, as well as accounting and storage of forms and returned passes.
Manages the preparation of necessary reports and certificates related to the activities of the bureau and the issuance of access documents.
Draws up, in accordance with the established procedure, acts for the destruction of documents whose storage period has expired.

III. Rights

The inspector of the pass office has the right:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the enterprise management (heads of other structural divisions) relating to access control issues at the enterprise.
Sign and endorse documents within their competence.
Demand that the head of the security service provide assistance in the performance of his official duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

The Pass Office Inspector is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the labor, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.

Spotify Virtual DJ 03.03.2023

Spotify has launched a new AI DJ feature that curates and comments on an ever-changing personalized playlist. Spotify describes him as "the AI DJ in your pocket" who "knows you and your taste in music so well that he can choose what to play for you."

The new feature mimics the host of a radio station fairly accurately, adding small details and comments about the artist or song while smoothly transitioning between songs.

The playlist is endless, but users can switch genres or artists by pressing the on-screen DJ button. Based on this feedback, the AI improves further user-specific recommendations. The system can scan for new songs to suggest new artists that the user might like, or to suggest old songs that the user has liked before.

The DJ's artificial voice is based on voice technology from startup Sonantic AI, which Spotify acquired last year. Spotify claims the system-spoken words come from a variety of sources, including a writer's room filled with "music experts, cultural experts, data curators, and screenwriters" and generative AI technology provided by OpenAI.

Currently only one virtual DJ voice is available, based on the voice of Xavier "X" Jernigan. He previously worked as an executive director at Spotify and later took on the role of host for the company's podcast The Get Up. Spotify says it's "the first model for DJs", suggesting there will be more virtual voices to choose from in the future.

So far, the AI-powered virtual DJ is launching in beta mode. The company is working "with some very new technologies" and will improve the system as they develop. For now, the new feature is only available in English for Spotify Premium subscribers in the US and Canada.
