I. General Provisions

The deputy head of the logistics department for production issues belongs to the category of managers.
A person with a higher professional education and work experience in the specialty of at least 3 years is appointed to the position of deputy head of the logistics department for production issues.
Appointment to the position of deputy head of the logistics department for production issues and dismissal from it is made by order of the head of the enterprise upon the recommendation of the head of the logistics department.
The deputy head of the logistics department for production issues must know:

resolutions, orders, orders, other governing and regulatory documents of higher and other bodies relating to the activities of the department;
basics of organizing logistics, loading and unloading operations;
rules and procedures for receiving and sending cargo, ordering containers and vehicles, processing documents for receiving and sending products, making complaints in case of non-compliance with technical requirements and delivery conditions;
current orders and other regulatory documents on the range of supplies, consumption rates of raw materials, materials, instruments, equipment, conditions for their storage and transportation;
fundamentals of economics, organization of labor and management;
fundamentals of legislation on labor and labor protection of Ukraine;
rules of internal labor regulations;
rules and norms of labor protection, safety precautions, industrial sanitation and fire protection;

The Deputy Head of the Materials and Technical Supply Department for Production Issues is guided in his activities by:

the charter of the enterprise;
regulation on the department of material and technical supply;
this Job Description.

The deputy head of the logistics department for production issues reports directly to the head of the department.
During the absence of the deputy head of the logistics department for production issues (business trip, vacation, illness, etc.), his duties are performed by a person appointed in the prescribed manner, who acquires the corresponding rights and is responsible for the proper performance of the duties assigned to him.

II. Official duties

Deputy Head of the Logistics Department for Production Issues:

During the absence of the head of the logistics department, he performs his duties and is responsible for their proper execution.
Manages the work of the department on providing production with the necessary material resources.
Establishes economic relations with suppliers and draws up contracts for the supply of material resources, documentation for received goods.
Ensures timely acquisition of material resources in accordance with the production program.
Organizes unscheduled purchases of material resources.
Orders transport for transportation of goods, containers.
Prepares places for receiving incoming cargo.
Controls the timely return of reusable containers.
Conducts a technical and economic analysis of the expenditure of material resources.
Identifies unused material resources in warehouses and structural divisions of the enterprise and takes measures to use them in production or sale to other organizations.
Monitors the work of the production structural divisions of the enterprise on issues of rational use of material resources.
Performs individual official assignments from the head of the logistics department.

III. Rights

The deputy head of the logistics department for production issues has the right to:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the enterprise management regarding the activities of the department.
Submit proposals for improvement of the work related to the responsibilities provided for in this instruction for consideration by the management.
Inform the head of the logistics department about all shortcomings identified in the course of their activities and make proposals for their elimination.
Interact with the heads of all (individual) structural divisions of the enterprise.
Sign and endorse documents within their competence.
Make proposals to reward distinguished employees and to impose penalties on violators of production and labor discipline.
Demand from the management of the enterprise, the head of the logistics department, to provide assistance in the performance of their official duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

The Deputy Head of the Logistics Department for Production Issues is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
