I. General Provisions

The director of the printing house belongs to the category of managers.
A person with a higher professional education and work experience in the specialty of at least 5 years is appointed to the position of director of the printing house.
The director of the printing house must know:

resolutions, instructions, orders, other governing and regulatory documents of higher authorities relating to publishing activities;
technology for the production of printed products;
types and features of manufactured products, forms of typographical set;
printing equipment;
specialization of production and features of the structure of the printing house;
prospects for the technical development of the printing house;
production capacity of the printing house;
the procedure for preparing, forming and executing orders;
market methods of managing;
the current procedure for paying taxes and fees;
environmental protection requirements;
advanced domestic and foreign experience in the production of printed materials;
fundamentals of economics, organization of production, labor and management;
fundamentals of labor legislation;
rules and norms of labor protection and safety, industrial sanitation and fire protection.

The director of the printing house reports directly to _______.
During the absence of the director of the printing house (illness, vacation, business trip, etc.), his duties are performed by his deputy, who is responsible for their high-quality and timely execution.

I Responsibilities

Printing director:

Manages all activities of the printing house.
Organizes the work and effective interaction of form, printing, stitching and binding sections, departments, workshops and other structural units of the printing house for the purpose of highly profitable, high-quality production of the necessary printed products.
Ensures timely and high-quality execution by the printing house of orders, contracts, obligations, monitors the availability of licenses for publishing activities from customers.
In accordance with labor legislation and the established procedure, he hires and dismisses employees, applies incentives or imposes penalties, and creates conditions for their professional growth.
Ensures remuneration of employees in accordance with the current forms and systems of remuneration, observance of their social guarantees.
Takes measures to comply with environmental protection legislation.
Organizes the development, conclusion and implementation of collective agreements.
Carries out work to strengthen labor and production discipline.
Ensures compliance with the law in the activities of the printing house, timely payment of established taxes and fees, a combination of economic and administrative methods of management, unity of command and collegiality in the discussion and resolution of issues, material and moral incentives to increase the profitability of production.
Organizes the preparation of established reports.
Coordinates the activities of structural units that are part of the printing house.

III. Rights

The director of the printing house has the right:

Act on behalf of the printing house and represent its interests in relations with enterprises and organizations, government bodies regarding the activities of the printing house.
Act on behalf of the printing house without a power of attorney.
Manage the funds and property of the printing house.
Sign contracts, including employment contracts.
Issue powers of attorney.
Open current and other accounts in banks.
Within the limits established by law, determine the composition and scope of information constituting a trade secret.
Sign outgoing documents of the printing house, as well as payment documents.
Exercise other powers related to the implementation of his official rights and duties.

IV. A responsibility

The Printing Director is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
