I. General Provisions

A livestock specialist belongs to the category of specialists.
Appointment to the position of livestock specialist and dismissal from it is made _______.
The zookeeper must know:

resolutions, orders, orders, other governing and regulatory documents of higher and other bodies concerning issues of agricultural production and production and economic activities of the department (farm, agricultural plot).
livestock technology.
fundamentals of economics, organization of production, labor and management, systems of remuneration, material and moral incentives, methods of labor rationing.
fundamentals of land legislation.
legislation on labor and labor protection of Ukraine.
fundamentals of economics, labor organization, agricultural production and management.
internal labor regulations.
rules of labor protection, safety measures, industrial sanitation and fire protection.

During the absence of a livestock specialist (business trip, vacation, illness, etc.), his duties are performed by a person appointed in the prescribed manner. This person acquires the appropriate rights and is responsible for the proper performance of the duties assigned to him.

II. Official duties

Conducts scientific research in the field of animal husbandry.
It studies and implements advanced methods of breeding, raising livestock and poultry.
Makes calculations of the required amount of feed for animal care and submits them for approval to management.
Produces selection of animals for the tribe, selection and selection of pairs.
Determines the mode of keeping animals (temperature, air humidity, gas exchange, etc.) and exercises control over its observance.
Supervises and coordinates the breeding, rearing and care of animals.
Organizes work on artificial feeding of young animals and care for them.
Develops measures for carrying out sanitary and preventive work, cleaning and cleaning animals.
Organizes records of animal productivity.

III. Rights

The livestock specialist has the right:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the organization's management regarding its activities.
Submit proposals for improvement of the work related to the responsibilities provided for in this instruction for consideration by the management.
Within the limits of his competence, inform his immediate supervisor of all shortcomings in the activities of the enterprise (its structural divisions) identified in the course of the performance of official duties and make proposals for their elimination.
Request personally or on behalf of the management of the organization from the departments of the organization and other specialists information and documents necessary for the performance of his duties.
Involve specialists from all (individual) structural divisions in solving the tasks assigned to him (if this is provided for by the regulations on structural divisions, if not, then with the permission of the head of the organization).
Require the management of the organization to assist in the performance of his duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
