I. General Provisions

The artist belongs to the category of specialists, is hired and dismissed by order of the director of the enterprise.
A person with a higher professional (art) education and work experience as an artist of category II for at least 1 years is appointed to the position of artist of the 3st category;
for the position of artist of category II - higher professional (art) education and work experience as an artist for at least 3 years;
for the position of artist - higher professional (art) education, without presenting requirements for work experience, or secondary vocational (art) education and work experience in positions filled by specialists with secondary specialized education, at least 5 years.
The artist reports to _______ (director of the enterprise, other official).
In his work, the artist is guided by:

regulatory documents on the work performed;
methodological materials related to relevant issues;
the charter of the enterprise;
labor regulations;
orders and orders of the director of the enterprise (immediate supervisor);
this Job Description.

The artist must know:

resolutions, orders, orders, other governing and regulatory documents of higher authorities relating to the activities of the enterprise;
technical aesthetics;
fundamentals of production technology of products (services rendered);
advanced domestic and foreign experience in the implementation of industrial aesthetics;
fundamentals of economics, organization of labor and management;
labor legislation;
rules of internal labor regulations;
rules and regulations of labor protection.

During the absence of the artist, his duties are performed in the prescribed manner by an appointed deputy, who bears full responsibility for the proper performance of the duties assigned to him.

II. Official duties

Carry out work to introduce industrial aesthetics at the enterprise, contributing to increased productivity, its attractiveness and efficiency.
Take part in the development of artistic and design projects for the reconstruction and construction of enterprise premises.
Monitor compliance with aesthetic requirements, the correct artistic design of industrial interiors, the color design of production, office, cultural and amenity premises, places of rest and eating, the placement of furniture and equipment in them, and their rational lighting.
Develop recommendations for the choice of work clothes that correspond to the specifics of production and the nature of workers’ work activities.
Provide methodological assistance in equipping production, office and cultural premises with furniture, equipment, office equipment and equipment, as well as means of visual propaganda.
Develop projects for improvement and landscaping of the adjacent territory, architectural and artistic design of building facades, passageways and other structures owned by the enterprise.
Monitor the correct implementation of design work (advertising, bids, panels, posters, etc.).

III. Rights

The artist has the right:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise relating to its activities.
Submit proposals for improvement of the work related to the responsibilities provided for in this instruction for consideration by the management.
Receive from the heads of structural divisions, specialists information and documents necessary for the performance of their duties.
Involve specialists from all structural divisions of the enterprise to solve the duties assigned to it (if it is provided for by the regulations on structural divisions, if not, with the permission of the head of the enterprise).
Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

The artist is responsible for:

For failure to perform (improper performance) of their official duties provided for by this Job Description, within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.

Bullets with laser guidance 08.02.2012

The minimal presence of homing ammunition for firearms is a problem for the defense industry and military personnel. Similarly, artillery, before the invention of homing missiles, had to use the so-called "carpet bombing", unaimed and hitting everything around. An optical sensor is located in the nose of the bullet, which monitors the position of the laser dot from the sight 30 times per second. Drives located inside the ammunition turn the stabilizers, thus correcting the direction of the bullet's flight. The Sandia lab engineers conducted tests based on a computer model and in real world conditions. They found that when the target is located at a distance of 800 meters, the average error of a firearm is about 10 meters, while with new homing bullets this figure is reduced to only 20 cm.

One of the most important advantages of the development is the fact that engineers used only commercially available components to make the laser-guided bullet.
