I. General Provisions

The bar manager is hired and dismissed by order of the director.
In his work, the Bar Manager is guided by:

employment contract and job description;
current legislation;
orders and instructions of the director;
internal regulations;
rules of labor protection, fire safety, industrial sanitation.

In his work, the Bar Manager reports directly to the director, and in their absence to persons directly replacing them.

II. Official duties

The bar manager is obliged to prepare the workplace for the reception of visitors and put bar products on the appropriate shelves.
The bar manager must:

be able to use any equipment of the bar, and monitor its safety;
monitor the cleanliness of the bar counter, ashtrays, dishes, workplace and storage places for drinks and food;
Serve customers at the bar counter with ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages, such as: wines, cognacs, liqueurs;
serve visitors at the bar counter with confectionery and other products with the preparation of a wide range of alcoholic and low-alcohol drinks: strong, dessert, sparkling, with fruit, egg, layered cocktails, crunches, punches, grogs, mulled wines, daises and other drinks;
mix the components of drinks in shakers, crucibles, beat them with the help of tools and mechanisms;
prepare a variety of cold and hot snacks from mushrooms, sandwiches, canapes, sausage slices, sausages, ham in dough, stuffed eggs, fruit and berry salads, salted almonds, cream, olives, cheese biscuits and other snacks;
to acquaint visitors with the assortment and recipes of the drinks sold;
have a neat appearance, strictly monitor the observance of the rules of personal hygiene and the fulfillment of all the requirements of the sanitary inspection;
be extremely polite in dealing with visitors and colleagues, greet visitors with a smile;
serve visitors quickly and correctly;
to order products from the kitchen strictly with a copy of the receipt for these products;
correctly and on time to conduct an inventory, timely draw up documents related to the conduct of cash transactions, as well as invoices for the warehouse;
monitor the availability of the number of drinks and products necessary for the smooth operation of the bar, if necessary, place an order for the warehouse;
know by heart the bar menu and product prices, navigate the bar products offered, know the components of drinks and be able to offer them;
supervise bartenders and organize their work;
in case of emergency situations, promptly notify the restaurant administration and the security service.

The bar manager is prohibited from:

leave the workplace without the permission of the immediate supervisor;
smoking in unauthorized places and drinking alcohol throughout the shopping center;
in the workplace: eating, chewing gum, reading, standing with arms crossed over chest; use profanity or slang, contemptuous intonation, be rude, remain indifferent to the requests of visitors or employees;
connect any heating devices, boilers or other devices without the consent of the restaurant administration;
place personal vehicles in the parking lot of the restaurant;
visit the restaurant after hours without the permission of the administration;
issue goods without breaking the check;
be on the territory of the kitchen at non-lunch time without an official need;
Carry cash with you at work.

III. Rights

In order to fulfill his duties, the Bar Manager has the right to make proposals to the director on improving the work of the restaurant bar and report to the restaurant management about all the shortcomings in the restaurant.

IV. A responsibility

The bar manager is responsible for:

For failure to perform (improper performance) of their official duties provided for by this instruction, within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For committing an offense in the process of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage and damage to the business reputation of the Firm - within the limits determined by the current labor, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
