I. General Provisions

The head of the department of automation and mechanization of production processes belongs to the category of managers.
A person with a higher professional (technical) education and work experience in design or technological preparation of production in engineering, technical and management positions of at least 5 years is appointed to the position of head of the department of automation and mechanization of production processes.
Appointment to the position of head of the department of automation and mechanization of production processes and dismissal from it is made by order of the director of the enterprise.
The head of the department of automation and mechanization of production processes must know:

regulatory and methodological materials on automation and mechanization of production;
profile, specialization and features of the structure of the enterprise;
design features and purpose of automation and mechanization means, rules for their operation;
the basic requirements for the structures being developed, the procedure for the development and approval of long-term and current work plans for automation and mechanization of production;
production capacity of the enterprise;
production technology of the enterprise;
means of computer technology, communications and communications;
design methods, organization and planning of design work;
procedure and methods for conducting patent research;
the procedure for the development and execution of technical documentation;
basic requirements for the organization of labor in the design and construction;
the procedure for concluding contracts with third parties;
fundamentals of technical aesthetics and artistic design;
achievements of domestic and foreign science and practice in the field of automation and mechanization of production processes;
fundamentals of economics, organization of production, labor and management;
fundamentals of the labor legislation of Ukraine;
rules and regulations of labor protection.

The head of automation and mechanization of production processes reports directly to _______.
During the absence of the head of the department of automation and mechanization of production processes (illness, vacation, business trip, etc.), his duties are performed by a deputy (in his absence, a person appointed in the prescribed manner), who acquires the corresponding rights and is responsible for the proper execution of the duties assigned to him responsibilities.

II. Official duties

Organizes the development and implementation of comprehensive automation and mechanization of production processes that contribute to increasing the technical level of production, increasing labor productivity, reducing the cost of heavy manual labor, reducing costs, improving the quality and competitiveness of products, ensuring favorable working conditions and its safety.
Manages the preparation of long-term and annual plans for automation and mechanization of production processes, relevant sections of the business plan and technical development plan for production, development of proposals for the reconstruction and technical re-equipment of the enterprise.
Provides the study of production processes in order to identify areas, works and operations that are subject to automation and mechanization, conducts patent research and determines indicators of the technical level of the designed equipment and technology.
Organizes the preparation of technical specifications for the creation of automation and mechanization equipment with feasibility studies of the structures being developed.
Monitors the timely execution in the prescribed manner and the conclusion of contracts with specialized organizations for research, design and development work, production of complex automation and mechanization equipment.
Manages the development and coordination of work schedules, provides applicant organizations with the necessary technical data and materials, and controls their work.
Organizes calculations of the effectiveness of measures for automation and mechanization of production, drawing up requests for the necessary equipment, keeping records of its receipts and the use of funds allocated for these purposes.
Takes part in the consideration of preliminary and technical designs, working drawings developed according to the orders of the enterprise.
Organizes work on installation, testing, adjustment and commissioning of automation and mechanization objects, monitors their correct maintenance.
Ensures reliability and uninterrupted operation of automation and mechanization of production of newly constructed facilities, modernization of existing equipment, development of more advanced designs of protective and fencing equipment and sealing of harmful production processes.
Coordinates the activities of enterprise departments that carry out automation and mechanization of production processes, ensures that the implemented means comply with the modern level of technology development and labor protection requirements.
Takes measures to assist workers in mastering new designs of automation and mechanization equipment.
Organizes the development of instructions for the operation of equipment and the safe conduct of work when servicing automation and mechanization equipment, the correct operation of reconstructed and modernized machines, mechanisms and other equipment in compliance with production processes.
Promotes the development of rationalization and invention in the process of designing and constructing means of automation and mechanization of production, gives conclusions on the most complex of them.
Heads the work of studying domestic and foreign experience in automation and mechanization of production processes, disseminating advanced techniques and methods of work, and promoting new achievements in this area.
Provides accounting and reporting on the work performed.
Manages department employees.

III. Rights

The head of the department of automation and mechanization of production processes has the right:

Act on behalf of the department, represent the interests of the enterprise in relations with other structural divisions of the enterprise, organizations on issues of automation and mechanization of production processes.
Request and receive from the heads of structural divisions of the enterprise and specialists the necessary information.
Check the activities of the structural divisions of the enterprise in the field of automation and mechanization of production processes.
Interact with the heads of all structural divisions of the enterprise on issues of automation and mechanization of production processes.
Independently conduct correspondence with the structural divisions of the enterprise, as well as other organizations on issues within its competence.

IV. A responsibility

The head of the department of automation and mechanization of production processes is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description, within the limits determined by the labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
