Where there are bodies of water, the one in distress should not lack food. For fishing equipment sets must include sets of fishing lines, hooks, spinners, weights.

The best material for the manufacture of rods are hazel, birch, juniper. The rod must be strong enough, flexible and have a length of at least 3 m. Depending on the type of fish, the following are used as bait: earthworm, maggot, bloodworm, winged insects (grasshoppers, wasps, bees, mosquitoes, large midges), ant eggs, black bread, etc. For catching predatory fish (pike, carp), live bait is used - a small live fish (gudgeon, bleak) impaled on a hook, as well as pieces of foil, mother-of-pearl buttons, etc. Of course, catching fish differs in each case has its own characteristics and requires certain techniques, various gear, hooks, baits, etc. (depending on the type of fish).

At the same time, knowledge of simple, but very important rules:

  • the best time for fishing is early morning and evening hours, during the day they fish only on cloudy days;
  • biting improves with a decrease in water and stops completely before a sharp change in weather;
  • fish bite better in places with clear water that has a small amount of organic impurities;
  • biting increases in areas of the reservoir, where mosquitoes, larvae, midges, etc. accumulate in a small space;
  • when fishing from the shore, you need to position yourself near a bush or a large tree so as not to stand out against their background. At the same time, the sun should be behind your back so that your own shadow falls on the water;
  • The most favorable for fishing are considered: in narrow rivers - areas where they expand, in wide ones - places of narrowing, in deep reservoirs - shallows, in shallow ones - pits, in stagnant ponds and lakes - channels, in any rivers - bays and backwaters.

At rapids and rifts, where a transparent mountain stream rushes, grayling and trout are well caught. When fishing for insects, they use a fishing rod without a sinker, and it is best in windy weather, when ripples prevent the fish from seeing the fisherman.

When fishing with a lure, the deepest parts of the reservoir are chosen. When fishing in cloudy weather, the lure is carefully cleaned with ash, sand or just a leather belt. Having thrown the lure, it is periodically twitched to attract the attention of predatory fish. The biting fish is hooked with a sharp, but not strong movement, and then, holding the line in a taut position, the fish is pulled out, pulling it to the shore.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

New IEEE 802.15.4 Transceiver CC2520 for ZigBee Networks 17.03.2008

The CC2520 is a second generation IEEE 802.15.4 transceiver chip released by Texas Instruments for use in ZigBee networks in the license-free 2,4GHz band.

This chip can be used in critical applications in conditions of high industrial electromagnetic interference. The CC2520 transceiver has a high energy potential of the radio channel, a low level of current consumption and can operate in the operating temperature range from -40 to 125°C.

Also, the CC2520 transceiver provides extensive hardware support for packet control, data buffering, packet transmission, data encryption and authentication, channel noise level estimation, signal level indication, and accurate packet timing. This advantage reduces the computational load on the control controller.
