Almost all parts of the motor plow are homemade, but they are not too complicated, and anyone who has locksmith skills can make them.

The basis of the motor plow is a frame welded from a steel profile "corner" 50x50x5 mm. It has an engine, drive axle, plow and controls.

The wheels are homemade. Each consists of a central hub, twelve spokes made of a steel bar Ø 14 mm, a rim (steel strip 6 mm thick and 120 mm wide) and a rubber-cord tread with a large pattern cut from an old car tire.

The central hubs of the wheel are equipped with overrunning clutches - this is much simpler than a differential, and more reliable than a single drive wheel. The wheel is assembled like this. Spokes are screwed into the hubs, a nut is screwed onto each. Then the spokes are sequentially passed through the holes in the steel strip of the rim and each from the outside is fixed with a second nut. After balancing and centering, the rim is welded or fastened from the inside with an overlay and screws. To fix the tire, two corners are installed on it; each of them has two holes through which M10 tie bolts are passed.

The drive axle is machined from a bar Ø 40 mm (Steel 40). It is better to do this in the centers, paying attention to the landing surfaces - the cleanliness of their processing must be at least the seventh class, and the accuracy class - at least the second. All of the above should also be attributed to the intermediate shaft.

The motor plow uses a two-stage chain gearbox. The gear ratio of the first stage of deceleration is 3,65, the second - 3. These figures must be strictly adhered to: the speed of the motor plow with such a gear ratio is about 4 km / h.

All sprockets of the chain reducer are homemade. Both with the intermediate and with the drive shaft, they are connected by keys.

Particular attention in the manufacture of a tiller should be given to the plow itself. The inaccuracy of its "geometry" can cross out all the work done, since such a plow will not plow. The main thing is to correctly install the blade, that is, the part that turns the soil over. The optimal angle is 50°: with a smaller one, the soil resistance increases sharply, which will cause slippage and vibration of the entire unit.

The plow is placed on the frame so that it is possible to change the plowing depth and installation angle. For this, a handle is used, during the rotation of which the plow turns on the lever, raising or lowering the toe. You can adjust its position on the go.

The plow is attached to channel No. 10 at the rear of the frame. The grip width can be changed, for which there are grooves on the channel through which the working body is fastened with M12 bolts.

Motor plow engine - from the T-200 scooter. Its layout does not cause any particular difficulties. Management is placed on the handles.

In addition to the main purpose, the motor plow can also be operated in conjunction with a single-axle trailer, using it to transport various goods.
