I offer the simplest device with which you can facilitate the rewinding of yarn from a skein into a ball. When you do not face this problem yourself, the matter seems simple, but it so happened that my wife "unraveled" the woolen dress. Rewinding wool from a ball into skeins, washing ... But when we tried to re-form balls of yarn, we had to come up with a device for this, because the wool became tangled and fell off during washing and the skein simply slipped off the bottles after the thread.

I cut out a disc from organic glass and attached it to the clamp through the bearing. Yarn threads were placed on pins located along the periphery of the disk. Disc drive - with a handle. In the process of winding yarn on the device, I advise you to tie up parts of the skein with thread.

Rewinding yarn

After washing, rearrange the pins so that a smaller hexagon is formed (because the wool "shrinks"), and put the skein back on the fixture. Now you can wind the wool into a ball.

You can also work together: put two skeins on the hairpins at once and wind the wool into two balls from different sides. In the same way, it is easy to get one ball of double or triple thread from two skeins - put two (or three) skeins on the device at once, and the wool is wound into one ball.
