Jaybird Run Sports Wireless Headphones 15.09.2017

Jaybird has joined the ranks of truly wireless earbuds. The model of this firm is called Run.

Jaybird is positioning the new product as a solution for runners, although, of course, anyone can use them. Autonomy is declared at the level of four hours, and the charging case increases it to 12 hours. The manufacturer claims that just five minutes of charging is enough for the headphones to work for one hour.

The earphones can work with iOS 9 or later and Android 4.4 or later. Jaybird is probably the only manufacturer that has specified some technical parameters for its fully wireless headphones other than autonomy.

So the Run impedance is 16 ohms. The frequency range is declared at the level of 20-20000 Hz. The value of harmonic distortion does not exceed 5% (1 kHz, 1 mW). The headphones use emitters with a diameter of 6 mm. Dimensions are 14,3 x 19,5 x 19 mm with a weight of 6,83 g.

Headphones are not afraid of sweat and moisture thanks to the proprietary "double hydrophobic nano-coating". The novelty should go on sale in early October. The cost is $180. Unlike many other similar solutions, Run boasts a good kit, which includes not only a case, but also a charging cable, four sets of ear pads, four sets of attachments for fixation and a case.
