Quantek, a specialist in digital radio solutions, has introduced the Q88 module for digital radio broadcast (DAB) reception. According to the manufacturer, the Quantek Q88 is the world's smallest digital radio receiver. The dimensions of the module manufactured using the System In Package (SiP) technology are 17x17x1,15 mm.

The Q88 integrates an RF tuner, signal processor, audio decoder and application processor. According to the company, the high degree of integration saves up to 75% of PCB space compared to other similar solutions.
