As you know, the very first scheme of an aircraft with a vertical rotor was developed back in 1500 by the great Italian scientist, artist and inventor Leonardo da Vinci. However, like many other ideas, it took several centuries to implement.

The first helicopters (although it is difficult to call them such) appeared at the beginning of the 1907th century. More precisely - in the years 1909-1916. But the very first helicopter, which managed to carry out a relatively long flight, appeared only in XNUMX. It was called by the name of its creators - the Austrian Lieutenant Stefan Petrochi and Professor Theodor von Karman - a helicopter on a leash Karman - Petrochi. He could climb only a few tens of meters, besides, he had to be kept on a leash so that he did not fly away.

In the following decades, only a small number of helicopters managed to get off the ground for a short time. Only in 1930, the helicopter, created by the Soviet designer Alexander Mikhailovich Cheremukhin, rose in free flight to a height of 605 meters. It was the very first successfully flying helicopter in the history of the aircraft industry.

With the advent of facial recognition systems, discussions about privacy violations broke out in society. The glasses were developed by Beijing-based LLVision Technology Co. The creators of the device said that the glasses are able to identify a criminal in 100 milliseconds. Interestingly, the database of criminals' faces is not stored in the "cloud" service of the police, but on the office smartphone of each police officer. Attackers will not be able to gain access to it and hack.

If the system detects a suspect in the crowd, it will inform the policeman about this, and he will be able to promptly arrest him. However, the Chinese public fears that these systems can be used by the authorities not only for help, but also for harm, violating privacy and human rights. For example, some Chinese believe that the US intelligence agencies can connect to police glasses and literally monitor all of China.

Meanwhile, these fears are not groundless. China is in fact working on the world's largest country-wide surveillance network. 170 million CCTV cameras have already been put into operation, and another 400 million devices will enter service over the next three years. Many of them have some semblance of artificial intelligence, including face recognition.
